Transmetropolitan Book One

This was an interesting read, can't believe I missed it when it was first released. Has a lot of very interesting ideas and an over the top acid-future world as a playground for its stories to play out in.Rock star new reporters? Thank all that is holy that never became a real thing!

So, so pleased to see Transmet being re-released in an affordable format. Nicely rendered, good paper stock, good printing, fantastic stories. Recommended as an all time great graphic novel comic book call it what you want series.

There's some not-bad artwork but the storyline & dialogue is sub-adolescent with swearing added to make it seem vaguely adult. A huge disappointment. Avoid.

Wasn't sure about the hype but very glad I got this - it is so cutting edge, even all these years later. Truly great!
