Being a keeper of backyard hens, especially rescues who can have issues laying soft or very thin egg shells, I have used this product over the years and find one capful to a litre of water for a week sorts the problem out. Good stuff. I bought it to supplement my small flock of hens, as they were going through a moult. Had a couple of soft shell eggs, and it was clear they needed some support while regrowing feathers. This was good value, and nice and easy to use - just measure a bit into the drinker while refilling it. Not had a soft shell since, and the girls' feathers have regrown beautifully.

L'ho usato come integratore per prevenire la carenza di calcio nelle mie due ovaiole. Ho cominciato quest'estate, quando avevano solo l'acqua degli abbeveratoi e non ho visto cambiamenti nel consumo di acqua. Le uova hanno un bel guscio e le galline stanno bene. Per prudenza ho usato un dosaggio dimezzato e alterno la somministrazione con acqua non addizionata ad ogni altro cambio di abbeveratoio. Si scioglie senza problemi e non ho visto depositi. Annusato puro ha un vago odore di menta. Buo prodotto
