The thing had this intense chemical smell the moment I opened it, very plastic-ey, factory kind of chemical smell. The scent dissipated after being out of the packaging for a while but it was quite an affront to the senses. Overall it works as it is intended to, the velcro is strong, it fits all of my cords and you can't beat the price. While it is a welcome alternative to the mess I had before it isn't the prettiest thing but it does it's job well. I like that it has the holes along it's length, it allows me to combine just about all of my cables, even the ones I need to plug in at different intervals.

The neoprene smell was so overpowering that it nearly made me sick. I've been airing it out in my garage for a month, and it still stinks.

I needed something to manage my cables. That is when I came across this Cable Management sleeves. This set comes with two sleeves, that are roughly 4 feet long. Each sleeve has a variety of slits in it to slip your cord through. The slits are a nice size to slip each cable through. When I opened the package to this product, there was a strong odor. The neoprene smelled very strongly of chemical dye. I can't describe the odor. I had to actually let this package sit outside to air out for a couple of days because it was so strong. The neoprene is nice and strong. Each sleeve is black and white. There is a velcro throughout the sleeve. There's Velcro on the end, and within the elongated side of the sleeve. I was able to wrap around the sleeve and secure the velcro fairly easily. At the top of the sleeve, was another piece of Velcro, that consisted of the exact same type of velcro on each side. I did not know what to do with that piece, because it secured to nothing. There weren't instructions as to how to use or wrap the sleeve properly. The sleeve was far too long for my purposes, and needed to be cut down. If you wanted to wrap your cables, this sleeve is fine, but you may find yourself cutting it down, and having it outside for a few days to air out . Normally i use alot of zip ties. I end up with a thick bundle of cables going from the back of my tv to my systems to the side of my room. Its fantastic but when i want to move things around, all hell breaks loose. i would have to cut each tie. re-position everything from scratch. But with this im able to keep the part behind my tv to my systems nice and tidy and re-position without cutting everything. I can choose to move a single wire or move everything. I have a ton of tangled cords which I usually try to to organize with zip ties (which is not a beautiful look.) This is a simple idea but it works so great because it very adaptable. With the slits at regular intervals, you can just choose what works for you and it is 48" long, which is great because the soft material can be cut to the appropriate length. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because of the strong odor. These are great! I have many devices going at once for work, and that means way too many cords that get crazy tangled. These make that so much easier to handle. Received this for an honest review so here goes, I got this really quick and immediately I decided to try it out. I really like how easy it was to put in place. Definitely like the fact that I can no longer see all the cords behind my desk. Will be purchasing a few more for the rest of the house.

This worked great for getting all our wires from the tv and gaming systems under control !
