Can these be used to replace Decostar 51S bulbs?

Dear Customer, We suggest you not to replace the Decostar 51S bulbs with LED ones. That is because the 51S bulbs are halogen ones. Their transformer may pose some problems to LED bulbs as they have a load limit. It could cause flickering or burnt out. You may consider changing a LED transformer first. Then you're able to replace with energy-efficient LED bulbs. Thanks. Linkind Team

It’s advertised as A++ energy rating but on the packaging it’s says it’s only class E? So it’s not as energy efficient as it’s said to be ?

Dear customer, I understand your confusion about the "E" and "A++"rated energy efficiency of the product. Here the "E" rating equals to original A++. At the beginning of this year, a new energy efficiency labelling scheme was adopted by authorities. The range is "A-B-C-D-E-F-G" while the original one is "A++" to "G". In that case, we have both old and new packages. That's why you see the difference. We will update the description once the transition is done. As the new energy label is still in a transition stage, the new standard is not well spread that many customers is not familiar with it and think "E" and "F" rating are really energy-guzzling. The products are remain the same but the standard and name of the rating changed. By the way, for the new standard, there is nearly no products that can meet the requirements of "A" to "C". Most of the energy saving products fall under "E" to "F" rating. You may find label changes have already been made by LED manufacturers like "Philips", "Amazon Basics" and "Osram" too.
