Low smoke, nice light aroma, great quality

Smells of fragrant & rich almost smoky floral petals, but also has a fresh undertone like cool breeze after a warm rain. A wonderful, complex & well rounded floral scent. I have all scents from this line, which I also highly recommend, & this one doesn't disappoint either. Addictive.

I have no idea what white plum smells like, but I very distinctly recognize this as the scent of roses. Not a sharp synthetic scent, or cheap bathroom spray - but the soft scent of roses on the breeze after a rain. We get that here in spring, so it took me right there mentally. Anyhow, I don't know what people are talking about "powdery" - the scent I get is slightly sweet and not woody at all (which is where the scent of powder usually comes from).You light these, blow them out and then put them in a dish of sand, salt, or a holder. I have a feeling the people who say they have no scent are simply lighting them and letting them burn (I've seen people do that!). The scent is not too strong, but not weak - and they should burn 25 minutes.

Perfect incense for me. Low smoke, quick burn. Wonderful sweet musky fragrance. Lots of sticks. I have ordered multiple boxes and the sticks are always in good condition when received. Highly recommend.

I’ve used different Nippon Kodo incense (in the wooden box with striped packaging) that seems like far better quality and scent. My experience with this incense is that because the scent is relatively mild and sweet, the smokiness of the burn comes through more. Not the worst, but I’d definitely try another scent before purchasing this again!

The incense seem to smell good but I can't use it to see how it actually burns, because the box/envelope came all smashed up and the sticks are broken into hundreds of little pieces. It's not even worth trying to return it, going straight into the garbage.I got a different one from Nippon Kodo and that one is divine. I was really looking forward to try this one.

I love the feminine light clean powdery smell it gives while it’s burning but I wish the scent would stay a while after
