Earlier experiences from performances of about a dozen of time keepers right from Indian branded ones to locally assembled ones made me go in for a more reliable brand, as a replacement to the old faithful time keeper (that had slipped out of my hands and crashed down to the floor), even if it meant going in for the "imported". If not for any other reason, just because the 40yr old German made movement is still ticking after the crash... Options available were Seiko or Casio. With Seiko being more expensive, I selected this clock.1. Looks and Aesthetics.... Elegant describes it best... (5/5)2. Movement... its silent and the sweep is smooth... (5/5)3. Reasonably large sized numerals make the clock look easy to read from a distance, however, wished they were embossed.... (4/5)4. The frame feels durable with the glass in perfect fit.... (5/5)5 Movement protection from dust was missing... rather surprising considering this to be a Casio product.... (2/5)6. Hanging slot.... large in size making it easy to hang (5/5)7 Size... is perfect for a 18'x12' lobby... but, could have been a little bigger too. (4/5)8. Accuracy.... I've been using it for about a week now, and, the time seems to be accurate. (5/5)9. Packaging.... (5/5)10. Value for money... though higher in price than its brethren, Brand Name and After Sales support nails it home (5/5)45/50 point which is roughly 90% translating to 4.5stars out of 5.... I'll give it 5*Bottom Line: A Clock worth owning
