Easy install - Great product!
it’s a tight squeeze but it fits perfectly and was easy to install! The instructions recommend removing the muffler for EASE of install but i didn’t have to.

Sehr empfehlenswert / highly recommendable
Also Automotive Standard, höchste zulässige Festigkeitsklasse im Fahrwerkbereich. Wenigstens haben die Schrauben metrische Köpfe 19mm.I just ordered this hitch on good luck and I have to say that I am absolutely surprised and amazed at the quality! Absolutely clean processed, very rubuster, heavy impression. Material thickness consistently over 6mm. Overall impression: indestructible. I dare say that the cross beam of the jeep definitely fails earlier than this hitch. Even if no information on the steel grade can be found. But based on the overall impression, it cannot be assumed that inferior steel is used. Maybe the variety can still be clarified with the manufacturer. The strength class of the 1/2" bolts (12.7mm) is specified in the installation specification with Grade 8, which should correspond to the European strength class 10.9. So automotive standard, highest permissible strength class in the chassis area. The stated tightening torque is 120 lb-ft (162.7 Nm) confirms this. Unfortunately, these are imperial bolts with relatively coarse threads, compared to the metric thread. But some Locktite screw lock and the concerns are also gone. At least the bolts do have metric heads 19mm, so I am not forced to buy imperial wrenches 😅

Very easy install and the hitch looks like an OEM addition ...
Installed this hitch on my 2017 Wrangler Unlimited over the weekend. Very easy install and the hitch looks like an OEM addition to the vehicle. Very happy with the purchase, especially since the equivalent hitch from Mopar is like $300. Read other reviews and install instructions before I attempted my installation, and I was prepared to either remove the exhaust hangers, or remove the rear bumper in order to drill out the mounting holes for the hitch (other reviewers said the holes were sometimes too tight and required drilling to open them up). When it came down to it, I was lucky and I didn't have to do any of that. I was able to get the bolts into the holes without having to disconnect the exhaust hangers; 3 of the 4 mounting holes on the frame allowed me to easily slide the bolts through. The 4th hole was tight, and I had to use a wrench to turn the bolt through, but this worked fine. Otherwise I torqued everything down and that was it. The hitch fits great, looks great, and took no more than 30 minutes to install. Very happy with the product. My Curt hitch on my previous vehicle was about 6 years old and was getting pretty rusty, which I was disappointed about. If this one gets rusty on my jeep, the good thing is that the install was so easy and this hitch is so cheap, I'll just replace it if it gets to that point.
