Retro 10 Inch Silent Desk Clock - Antique Decorative, Easy to Read in Office/Bedroom (Black)

Love this clock!!! Not only does it keep perfect time, but I can see the time from across the room. I always want to know what time it is. This clock replaced one that I have had for 30 years. It was worn out and didn't keep the right time any more. It was hard to see the numbers (partly because my eyes were 30 years older too) It looks beautiful on my oak shelf and looks like cherry wood. They blend together beautifully. So thankful for this clock!!

Very satisfied with the clock! Nice size and the lage hour-numbers are very easy to see from distance. Simple style and looks "in place" on my fireplace mantle.

After years of using a small alarm clock to tell time in our living room, I decided to look for a larger clock that could serve as a focal point on our fireplace mantel, and which my vision impaired husband could read. I wanted a clock that was (a) attractive, (b) easy to read from a distance, (c) had a sweep second hand, (d) kept accurate time, (e) operated quietly and (f) did not have Roman numerals. It turned out to be a tall order as I perused clock after clock here on Amazon, most of which fulfilled some of the desired criteria but not all. Finally I came across this model from Beesealy. It ticked ALL the boxes so I ordered it. Some might say that priced at roughly $50 it was overpriced for a clock in a plastic housing, but unless it's picked up and examined closely, that housing looks like very high end polished wood. Its large, 1 1/2 inch numerals make it much easier for my husband to see the time. We're very pleased with it and feel that it's a great addition to our living room.

This clock is bigger than a toaster, not what I expected, It is easy to read, BEWARE it is all plastic. it looks nice
