So far so good for BMW i3. Very well made and appears to be durable for the longterm. Nice holster included. Had professional installation done. looked at a number of models and different companies. Appears ClipperCreek enjoys the best rating for quality and service. No problems at all do make sure you check the safety ratings of whatever unit you purchase. Thumbs up on all ClipperCreek products.——-Originally purchased in 2017. Just wanted to let people know quality continues to be excellent. Have absolutely had no issues at all. I have used it pretty much everyday. My car is parked in the driveway outdoors so the cord and charging end have remained outdoors. I am very impressed with how well the quality has held up in the hot California sun and in the rain.

Purchased this for my 2017 Chevrolet Volt. No frills charger that gets the job done everytime it's connected to the vehicle. Everything about this EVSE spells durable and simple. It may not have additional features such as connectivity to Wi-Fi and monitoring capabilities, but you can get those features quite easily through your electric utility companies or the car itself (via smartphone app). I appreciate the generous 25ft charging cord and the 3ft whip. The charging cord is high quality Delphi p/n and Made in the USA. It is very flexible and pliable but doesn't stick to dirt as much as regular rubber type charging cord. As soon as the plug is connected to the vehicle and communication is established, you will hear a relay click on, and the charging light will tell you that electrical current is flowing to the vehicle. 2 other lights tell you whether you have issues with the wiring connector or grounding issues.Installation is very simple, I mounted the charger to my finished garage. 2 of the holes are mounted to studs and the other 2 are through drywall fasteners. The bolt/screw is accessible from the front so you can tighten it further. Once mounted, the charging cord can be wrapped around the unit. The included holster is of high quality plastic that allows the charging plug to be stored and shield from the elements (if mounted outside). The 3ft whip comes out from the top of the unit but doesn't get in the way. It is also wrapped in a durable but flexible plastic shielding.The footprint of the EVSE itself is no larger than the standard 120V EVSE brick that came with the car. It blends into all of the tools I have in the garage and doesn't scream out of place. Overall I am very happy with this EVSE, and I trust the folks at Clipper Creek would support the generous warranty if anything goes wrong with the unit.

I have received the station promptly. It took me longer to run a dedicated circuit to it’s location. The installation was straight forward. No problems during the installation. The station has been in service for couple of weeks now. It is installed outside, on a wall of my house. There were couple of rains since then. It works fine. My Volt 2016 is happy, charging quickly :).

Great charger! Once you install one of these, you will be so annoyed having to charge your car with a normal charger. This thing is FAST! Charges our Ford C Max E in about 2 hours, and our Fiat in 5. Clipper Creeks customer service is also AMAZING! They have a great warranty, so if anything goes bad (we had a little accident, OUR fault, but they sent another charger free of charge, who the heck does that these days???). Great product, my brother also bought one after we would not shut up about how great this charger is, he also loves his Clipper Creek charger, he charges his Audi with it. Don't buy a crappy charger that is made in China. Buy a Clipper Creek, made in the USA, made with pride, excellent customer service, and you will feel good using it!!! Being patriotic and saving the planet at the same time, what a great feeling!

Been working well for about a month. Was easy to install and worked from the time I plugged it in. I hope it will last for a long time.

Love this charger, had it mounted outside our house by the driveway and it works perfectly.Charges my 2011 Nissan Leaf S fully in about 4-5 hours from 0, and about 2.5 hours when it's at half charge.It looks nice and unobtrusive on the wall and the build quality feels very high.

Installation is easy with everything needed for basic install included. Very simple and easy to use. Sturdy construction and great manufacturers warranty.
