Q: Can you leave the batteries in the charger after charging with out hurting them

Yes - I asked the Ryobi tech support this very question and they told me that leaving the batteries in the six sockets while the unit was plugged in will not harm the batteries. I have not had any issues doing so for about 9 months now.

Q: Electrician question:how many watts does it draw? i'm in an off grid rv with inverter, trying to decide if i need a 6 bank, or charge one at a time.

According to Ryobi, its electrical draw is 85W @ 60 hz 120V. A few other details: the power cable is six foot and the USB port is a 2 amp charging port.

Q: Wy is home depot selling this for $79?

706 trader def has the right answer. Also, I've noticed that everything for sale here is same or cheaper at home depot... just for anyone shopping, price check. Amazon wanted $169 for a brad nailer. Home depot sold me the brad nailer for $99 and I got two 4mah batteries for $79. Total for batteries AND the tool from Home Depot was about the same as what Amazon was asking just for the tool.
