Necco Chocolate Wafers Pack of 24 Rolls

I was very disappointed with the packaging. The wafers were just put in a box with no cushioning or padding. I expected to open one Necco roll and find the wafers broken, crushed or smashed to powder.It was not the case. Each wafer was intact, and I was pleased.The question is, was that an anomaly or how well Amazon trains their drivers? I have experience with this product. When Necco Company sends a box, it is packed very delicately like the hard drives used to be, with thick layers of foam padding on all six sides. Like they were shipping something very delicate and fragile. From the packaging, I consider myself incredibly lucky to have received the wafers intact, no broken wafers and I am well over half way through the box. Thank you delivery team for doing such a good job!

Hard to find the all chocolate and even harder since pandemic hit. As a kid always got the multi-flavor roll out of vending machine for a trip to the 25 cent Saturday kid's matinee (yep - I'm dating myself). Always looked for the chocolate wafers hidden in there. Still one of my favorites after all these years. Word of caution - I ordered 1 24 pack twice but last time ordered 2 packs. and packaging was poor - most all wafers broken on pieces. Maybe order the "Necco Wafers, Chocolate Wafers Display Pack, 2-Ounce Rolls (Pack of 24)" (Display Pack) which came in the pictured padded shipping box.

My fiancee and I love these Necco Chocolate Wafers. They taste excellent, and we always come back for more. Packaged great, and the price is fair. They're always fresh, and always ships fast. Highly recommend.

It broke my heart when the company that made Necco wafers went out of business. I kept track as a new company bought the recipes and moved headquarters. I 'liked" this candy originally but always pulled out the chocolates to save for last. the best! One day my heart was a flutter when I actually saw "ALL CHOCOLATE" packs of Necco wafers! It became the only candy I enjoyed regularly. Then the horrible news; after 0ver 50 years, the company was going out of business. I quickly bought 2 boxes and ate them sparingly! They finally ran out. I then bought a couple boxes on eBay for premium prices until they climbed to $60.00 a box up to over $120.00 for a 24 pack box!!! gladly nobody ever bought those sky high priced packs; I kept tabs. Then the word that Spangler was ramping up to deliver candies by Halloween. But let down again! They started with valentine hearts and other candies; no neccos. I kept getting Google alerts, usually snarky articles about "the 10 worst candies of all time"! I constantly screamed when I was let down with these stupid opinions about my beloved neccos! Then the last alert and letdown....Spangler would have Necco's early the next year. I finally was going to get my candies back; but NO; multi flavor Necco's but NOT yet the chocolate Necco's! AAAARRGH!! I pestered Spangler customer service monthly and finally; the chocolate necco's were coming back! Spangler beat the google alert with an email to my inbox! I of course pre-ordered a box and within 2 weeks my package had arrived! Oh they are better than I even remembered! Most of the eBay packs I bought had been sitting for awhile (NOS) and they were hard as a rock; they were still good but only for sucking, not biting. Now the new Neccos are great. They are fresh, full of the exact milky chocolate sweet flavor that has held my flavor buds for most of my 66 years. And it's really nice to have access to these treats whenever I want and not having to pay a king's ransom for a pack of hard, stale, but still delicious chocolate Necco wafers! At least one thing in this world is still as good as I remember!

We got these to sell in our coffee shop and they are almost gone. So many patrons remember the multiple flavor Necco wafers but have not seen all chocolate. Funny, my 30 year old son tried one and said, "this is chaulk-o-late". Definitely an acquired taste!

I'm addicted to NECCO's!

I have loved chocolate Neccos ever since I discovered them as a kid.....who am I kidding...I love all Neccos. These arrived quickly - no problem there. The arrived in a soft envelope. The box inside was beat. The Neccos so far (and I am through 7 or 8 rolls), have all been in pieces. I actually started counting how many of the wafers are intact. One roll actually had seven. Ale the others are broken. Tasty...but broken.

Someone bought me a box of these last year for Christmas. They were all broken and I did not have the heart to tell the giver. I ate them and decided to buy another box of 24 rolls. What are the chances you'd buy a box of duds? This box is full of broken ones too. They are smashed, crushed, busted and destroyed. Once you pitch the lousy ones out, there might be 4 or 5 discs that are not crushed. I'm done and over with this awful product. Shameful.
