ポート当たり1台しかディスクを認識しない状態のものが届いた
ポート当たり1台しかディスクを認識しない状態のものが届いた。firmwareとbiosを更新して認識するようになった。物自体はちゃんと動くので★4

Perfect for Unraid
I have a Silverstone RM21-308 set up as a JBOD that is attached to this card sitting in an unraid server. Everything was plug and play. The 8087 to 8088 cable connected the JBOD backplane to the card and unraid detected all the drives and I added them to my share. This was my first time doing this and it worked perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Obviously used, wrong firmware
Card is obviously used, not in original packaging.Card is clearly imprinted with "SAS9207-8e" on the back, however card has been flashed to be recognized as a SAS28032803 is very close in hardware but not identical. 2803 is supposed to support raid 0/1 where the 9207 is JBOD only.I'm not sure if it's the difference in firmware or DOA hardware, but although Ubuntu recognizes the card (as 2803) it is only showing 1 drive out of 12. This could be due to old vdisk configurations, however commands such as mpt-status and sas3mpt (latter downloaded direct from MSI) are unable to communicate properly with the card. It could also be a hardware issue not properly supporting NCQ since I have enclosures with backplanes on the other end (card is supposed to support at least 256 devices if not 1024 and specs say it should support NCQ)This could be due to a mismatch of firmware Vs Hardware, or it could be defective hardware. Flashing the hardware could be risky if the card is defective. The instructions for downgrading the firmware that I found would also need me to install this in a windows box as the commands in Ubuntu don't work to clear flash (required) before a downgrade.I will likely be returning this as DOA since I cannot get it to work without performing potentially destructive firmware flashing

Works with Ubuntu Linux 20.04
No need to install driver, Ubuntu 20.04 detects the card. Plug in an HDD to a hot swap enclosure and it's ready for format.
