I have several of these delightful birdhouses in different styles on the tops of my kitchen cabinets and they just brighten the whole room! Arrived in perfect condition! The instructions that come with it mention adding a polyurethane layer to preserve the paint finish if used outside, but I think enjoying it inside is best!

I haven't been able to install due to weather but know I'll love looking at it all summer.

The media could not be loaded. This is such a beautiful, cute birdhouse cottage. Because I spent a lot of money on it I spent even more money and put three coats of clear weather protectant paint on it.. in about four months from October to February, and we had no snow in our area started looking frail and splitting in by the end of March. It was in complete ruined. Now this is made according to the right of some stuff from the outside. But it’s only good for an indoor decoration. I clearly advise you not to buy it.

The item is well made but if you want to keep the finish protected, the manufacurer's website says to "we recommend using a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use and UV rated" which was an extra step I wasn't expecting. And another purchase.Also, no birds have taken interest in the birdhouse, but I haven't had the time to try relocating it to see if that would help. However, it is posted on the fence right next to the bottom of our deck (where they like to take shelter).

Beautiful birdhouse but definitely not made to be outside. I love the look but definitely overpriced.

This bird house is one of the most beautiful I found in the market. However, it doesn’t last long if you actually use it on your yard. This is after a year. I suggest you keep it under a canopy it should last much longer. The designed is different but the material is identical.
