This review is for the 3" version.I work with technical drawings and "blueprints" for work. I will often print them on 11x17 inch paper to save paper, make them more manageable, and for the print speed versus a plotter. The down side is that some of the notes and finer details are a little small for my aging eyes.One of the other engineers has a similar item that I have seen him use from time to time so I looked around for one.While probably not as durable as a glass one I do like the lighter weight of this one compared to glass. Don't get me wrong it still has some heft but not like glass. I travel with this sometimes so lighter is nice.The magnifications is great and very clear. the pouch and cleaning cloth are nice. I keep it sitting on the cloth at my desk so the bottom does not get scratched. I pack it in the bag when I need to go to a job site or business trip.The straight sides under the dome made it easy to maneuver and pick up.I am including a picture looking through it onto the cloth it comes with. Notice the way it magnifies the cloth threading.I hope you found this review helpful. Nice, Easy to Use Magnifier
Easy to use. Slides along the page. Good optics. Used these for my low vision students now I’m using them to read small print!

Perfect for puzzling
My husband had a coworker that showed him his magnifying dome that he uses for blueprints so we ordered one for our puzzle. It is the perfect addition to our puzzling.

Solid Product Works as intended
The media could not be loaded. This is really useful for those with really small blueprints in construction or I guess if you're reading fine print. I think the 3 inch size is perfect. I'm a little iffy about the texture of this dome tho I feel like it may scratch overtime but it does come with a microfiber and a carrying pouch.

Buying this online will probably save you several trips to the store. If you have any sort of vision problems, this product is a must. They do sell these in different sizes.
