Love these books for my kid. Super fun characters and story

I have never read a Pete the Cat book before this one. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I couldn't pass it up for the price. This was purchased for our son for Christmas to add to his book collection, however, I decided to read it today to see what it's about.It's an adorable little book with a good message. No matter what you do, it's more fun when you have your friends. It also shows team work as the friends want to help finish with a chore so that they are all free to play together. The book comes with stickers as well, but our son is still a little young for them.I am happy with this purchase. You can't beat the price and it was a nice and easy story to read. I would definitely recommend it to people looking to add to their children's collection!

Diction, expressions, vocabulary on point. Fun and entertaining!

I first became aware of Pete the Cat when our 3yo came home from preschool talking about him. They read a bunch of different Pete the Cat books at school and all the kids seem to love the character, although as an adult I don't see the special appeal. However my opinion doesn't really matter on that front and this definitely a bedtime favorite of his. He requests it frequently. From the parental perspective, it's not annoying to read over and over like some books are and it has a tiny bit of a moral (you don't always have to do exactly what you want to do, if your friends want to do something else. The fun part is just doing things together.) which is nice.
