This cooker works really well for making idli and dhokla, and the big size is helpful for family use. The copper bottom heats fast and cooks evenly, but it takes a bit more cleaning compared to regular steel. Overall strong quality, useful for many dishes, and I am happy with the purchase.

Don’t waste your time and money. It’s a cheap metal for which they charge a lot of money. The copper part started to peal off after the first use. It starts staining after the first use as well. I can’t even return due to it being over a month. Very disappointed.

The material used is good quality. BUT, the tray handles are made of narrow, sharp steel loops which make it very difficult to lift/hold & put the tray with batter into the steamer with hot water & also removing after it is cooked. Because the batter easily spills over to avoid steam burns while handling the trays. The handles are very unwieldy & too hot to hold when the batter is cooked. Very inconvenient to make dhoklas or idlis! Also due to the steam, the water level is not visible from the top while cooking. Though we bought this unit some time ago, we just opened the package to use it thus unable to return. Do not recommend this cooker until the handle design is improved.

Mini idly plate is missing and the screw in the lid within 2 weeks start to rust.

I recently purchased the QSEC All-in-One Stainless Steel 3-in-1 Kadai Cooker Steamer and I am extremely happy with the product. The build quality is excellent, the stainless steel is sturdy, and the copper bottom heats very evenly. All 5 plates are of good quality—perfect for idli, dhokla, patra, and steaming vegetables. The best part is that it works as a multi-purpose cooker, so it saves a lot of space in the kitchen. The size is ideal for a family, and cleaning is also very easy. I’ve already tried making idlis and dhokla—they came out soft and perfectly cooked.

It is as described — specifications match what’s advertised. The cookware quality itself is fine, and it looks like a versatile steamer/kadai combo for home use. However, the return service has been the worst part of this experience. Despite following up for many days, no return pickup was scheduled. I was forced to self‑ship the item, which was inconvenient and an extra cost. On top of that, there’s still no clear confirmation on refund status from the seller or Amazon. But the product still shows refundable in the product description, I don’t understand how this is called refundable. So, while the product itself is acceptable, the overall experience is dragged down entirely by the return logistics and lack of communication. That’s something potential buyers should know before purchasing.
