Solid tactile feedback, snap action, LED is polarity-insensitive, easy to install
These are great value.Pros:- The black body is made of metal, not plastic. Nut is also metal- Solid snap-action button: You really feel when it's pressed- Hook-Up instructions included, no guess-work- Connector locks in place- LED lights up regardless of polarityThe only sub-optimal thing is that the connector fits over the body two different ways (i.e. turned 180 degrees), which would lead to wrong connections. The only way you know that it's on the right way is if it locks into place. If you can just pull it off without pressing on the release then you put it on the wrong way. Also, I wish the LED would be brighter. I think it's OK for "finding" the switch, but not great for indicating if something is on or off at distance or under bright light conditions.

Nice Button
Having the ability to wire this normally open or closed is a huge bonus. I use this on an aquarium with a controller, and they work great. Nice and clicky and you know when you have activated them. Works great!

Quality feel
Metal housed momentary switches that feel quality made. I was SUPER impressed when they arrived. Zero complaints about them as they are AWESOME.

Very noisy for digital use
I really like the way these switches look and feel, and i like that they have a connector for them. That said, I always end up splicing into the lead wires (but splices could be used if you are into that sort of thing), and I always remove the Normally Closed lead-wire.I am connecting these to an Arduino, and the snappy action of the switch is similar to a tactile switch, but the switching noise is big. I de-bounced by "activating" on the initial edge, then ignoring the switch for the next 50mS. not bad, but be sure to plan for this in your software, or you will get false switching.

Awesome!
I love that these come with pig-tail connectors making wiring easier. Good light & the stickers are easy to use. Easy to install; I use a step drill bit. Good button press feel when using them!

Falls short of claimed benefits
These are really nice, solid buttons. They have a good tactile feel, they look great, and the included wiring harness makes for easy integration. The illumination isn't super bright, but it's decent. For most use cases, I would think they are a perfectly fine solution. The reason for the 2 star rating is that they are far from waterproof, and have started to fail in less than 2 years of very light use. They were not exposed to direct UV/Sunlight and have never been fully immersed or subjected to more than the occasional splash of water.Of the 4 that I purchased, 1 of the LEDs have failed, and 2 of the switches will now close when splashed with a few drops of water. On top of that, the rubber O-ring that seals the switch to the panel has completely disintegrated and now lets water into the enclosure.I know these are very inexpensive compared to more trustworthy brands, but they simply do not live up to the claims.

Sockets
It’s nice to use the sockets so you don’t over heat the switches.
