Excellent headphones, WELL worth the price in a studio
I used these exclusively for mixing my music. Their only one hitch is that after about a year they lose their low end, and they have a little bump in the response curve around 240hz that needs to come out before mastering.. A tiny bit of EQ fixes that easily. I do buy new ones every year, but they are entirely worth every penny.

ACCURACY!!!!!
Are you tired of the headphones everyone raves about, which have an unrealistic amount of bass? Do you miss being able to hear the precise tink of a teacup, or the sound of windchimes? Then these are the headphones for you. I own some Sennheiser HD 600s. People said Sennheiser didn't fall into the trap of other headset makers, like Sure, Boss (yuck), and even AudioTechnica - and that they hadn't been bought out and replaced by cheap knock-offs like AKG. And people said the Sennheiser 600 had less bass than the 580 or 650. But it still had more bass than reality, to the detriment of high frequencies. Point being - most expensive headsets have more bass than reality. This is detrimental to my hearing and my mixing. People say you should lose a lot of your high frequency hearing as you age, and to some extent I'm sure that this is the result of aging. But I'd bet a million bucks that people in the audio world lose some of their hearing because they get addicted to bass. These headphone act like monitors. They are not going to emphasize the bass in any way. Further, if there is any noise, over amplification, or issue with frequencies beyond 3KHz, with these headphones, you'll hear it. With these you will be able to identify problems at all frequencies which most costly headphones would fail to accurately reproduce, or would gloss over. And these headphones provide realism. With most headphones, the low frequencies vibration of a phone will sound real - like it's in the room with you. With these 7506s, even the patter of rain sounds real.

Classic Sony quality!
I bought these Sonys for podcasting and they're so comfy and lightweight. Don't pinch your head the sound is great. Best bang for your buck if you don't want to spend a fortune on studio headphones.

Comfortable and decent noise cancelling
These are OK. The sound is decent and they are comfortable; often I can't even tell that I have them in. And for the price point, they do the job. I really like how small they are and how sturdy they are in my ears. They just don't fall out. A couple of downsides are first, they don''t seem to mesh well with Apple. They will unpair randomly and with no reason which is a real pain. The other is how sensitive the touch pad is to shutting off with the slightest brush of the finger. But for a basic set of earbuds, they are good and worth the price

Genuine Sony Headphones
I saw a few reviews stating that these headphones were counterfeit, but the set I ordered from Electronics Basket are genuine. You can tell the difference on the box, the genuine ones have a 5mm border of blue around the plastic window. These sound great, are nice and light weight, and have a nice long coiled cable. They are closed backs and provide some level of noise reduction, but are not noise cancelling. Great sound for the price.
