Cool but ...??
So... Definitely a $10 or under game. Even then it feels like it's $10-$15 because it comes with a wand. Honestly the game is something one with a spell wiki and 62 index cards could make easily. That said, I'd rather spend the $10 to get this than make my own. What's confusing to me is that it's not obvious which cards are the cards, and which are the tiles. Ones bigger and ones smaller but I always forget which is which. I guess it doesn't really matter except that it changes the direction you make/see the spell. You are supposed to cast it correctly, and players view it as you casting so it looks opposite. So if I forget which is "tile" and which is "card" we can do the spell the wrong way which... Idk just bugs me. It could've been easily fixed by making the tiles thicker and... More like tiles, or adding other words on the back. Also the packaging is huge considering it's just a set of cards and a wand?? It's a dumb thing to be annoyed with but like... it did NOT need that whole box.Nonetheless I am a nerd, and raising nerds, so we will see how the kids like it! It's a fun game concept and def has a lot of useful skills it reinforces.

Cute Harry Potter Fan Game
This game was a great find. I have a Harry Potter fan and I wanted to get something that they would like. So happy with this game. This game is easy to play. You set up the cards in a grid. You take turns using the wand to cast the spells. The rest of the group has to guess which spell you are casting. The winner is the player with the most cards.I am very pleased with this game. It is easy to play and learn. It is fun. While it says it is for 3+ players, we changed a few rules and can play it with 2 players. One last mention, this is a quick game. Great for when you don't have enough time to take out a long game.

Boring
Maybe good for a five year old; was awful to try and play with mine; he didn't understand it initially and when he did got bored very quickly - not as quickly as I did though.

Easy and fun family game
We are huge Harry Potter fans but my kids are pretty young. I was happy to find a game that isn't hard to learn or hard to do at all. We like to dress up and everyone has their own wand. It is really fun guessing the spells and easy for little kids to participate. Even if they cannot say the words, they can at least point to the spell card. I highly recommend for some family fun.
