Yeah, I realize they're just chip clips and do I really need to take the time to review them but, they're the nicest chip clips I've ever had.Here's why:Very sturdy construction and, even though they're metal, there are no pointy/sharp bits. The springs are tight and they do a good job of keeping bags well closed.They can be used for other purposes too. So don't worry that a pack of 8 or 12 is too many. In fact, I first ordered an 8 pack, liked them so much I then ordered a 12 pack. I'm gonna get rid of all the old chip clips we have. (We have this chip clip shaped like an owl that looks super cute but it's utterly worthless. It hardly even opens enough to put it on the smallest/thinnest bag).I love the look of these clips but then I've always been a fan of powder coated metal. The colors of the clips are bright and fun.Chip clips are a tiny, mundane product but they're one every household needs, and it's nice when you find one that does what it's supposed to and feels like it'll last. I shouldn't have to buy another chip clip for years to come! I definitely recommend these.

Very useful clips , sturdy & fit for purpose. These ones are practical in keeping fresh food or nuts sealed & persevered. Indeed a good value and worth considering for each home.

There are so many choices in chip clips. I picked these because they looked to be a good size and the fact that they are made of metal suggest durability. In the past I have had only plastic ones which worked ok but eventually broke. These are perfect. The right size for me. They look and feel durable no one needs 12 chip clips so I shared these with a friend. Now we have what appears to be lifetime supplies of chip clips. (We are seniors).

These clips are made of metal, not plastic, so they should last longer in our freezer. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
