Q: Will this reset, and return to it's program if power has been interupted ? It says hardwire power only, and I see no spot for batteries

It remembers the programmed settings after a power loss. However, the clock will be behind after main power is restored because the last clock time is simply stored, but the clock is not running during the outage.

Q: Does this thermostat work with the SmartThings hub for home automation?

Since the flashed upgrade last year, this thermstat works consistently with both my Google Home app and the Honeywell Home app on my Galaxy 7 Android.

Q: Will this work on an oil furnace with a heat pump?

I don’t see why not, as long if you have a home internet system
