Love these!
These are a life saver. They were affordable, lightweight and you'll forget you're wearing them. Definitely saved a lot of damage to my knees when sanding a deck!

Lightweight and durable
These are nice knee pads that are lightweight and durable. The outer shell is quite hard and definitely very durable, but it also has a tiny amount of flexibility so that it does not scratch surfaces like a plastic shell would. The interior foam padding is quite hard, so resting on it was not the most comfortable on the knees, but it was not too bad. While the base is flat and balanced, the top appears to curve a little to the side (one to the left and the other towards the right). I found I had to switch the two knee pads for greater comfort. While wearing these knee pads, they did not jostle around too much while walking. And they did not slide down as long as the straps were tight enough. However, adjusting the straps was a pain in the butt. There was no easy way to feed the strap through the slot, so I opted to use a letter opener to create an opening from which I could pull the strap through (I have no idea what the description meant by: “easy on/off…pops in and out like a button”).RECOMMEND: I would recommend these Sellstrom KneePro ZeroGravity Knee Pads. They serve their purpose well enough and are easy to use once you have made the necessary adjustments. They are lightweight and will make kneeling on hard surfaces much easier.

Comfy and super light to wear! Never realized knee pads could be this comfortable.
I’ve used a variety of knee pads over the years for construction and home maintenance activities, and they’ve all been fairly similar in terms of weight and clunkiness. They’ve all done the job, but they often end up slipping downwards or sideways, or otherwise catching on the ground as I’m crawling around. After an hour or so, they’ve all gotten really noticeable and distracting. When I saw these come along, and read their description, it seemed like maybe some improvements over the traditional variety were actually possible. After using them for the first time, I’m pleased to say that they really are easier to wear and they’re much less distracting to maneuver in. The construction of them makes the settle on my knees more naturally, and the strap catch mechanism is logical and easy to adjust. No more fussing with hook-and-loop straps that get messed up with debris that gets caught in them, these are so much less of a hassle. So far, the foam is holding up nicely with no visible damage of any concern. Because they don’t have a hard plastic shell/layer in them, I probably wouldn’t go crawling across really sharp rocks or beds of nails or anything, but for normal dirt/debris type stuff you’d expect in a crawl space, these seem more than capable. We’ll see how they last over the course of the summer, but after putting them to their first test, I’m very pleased. Can’t beat the price either.

Better than nothing
These are quick on and off, and will definitely save your knees from the extreme. That being said, not ideal for long periods of time. They are cheap, feel cheap and look cheap. Definitely better than nothing.

So simple, and yet...
These knee pads are thick and durable, but despite being a self-proclaimed "smart person," I would have appreciated some instructions. The round part points up toward your head. To put them on, you don't need to step into them. Instead, the plastic clip can be slid through the hole it rests on top of by first pulling it away, then reorienting it and pushing it back in through the hole. Then you put the pads on your knees and push the plastic clip through the hole, settling it flat. It seems to do a good job of holding its tightness, and the band can be easily adjusted without unadjusting itself. Once on, I didn't have a problem wearing them, though my loose-fitting pants did ride up a little beneath them. If I'd worn jeans below, they probably wouldn't have had a problem. Despite crawling around in the yard, I couldn't feel any of the usual nuts, rocks, or sticks beneath my knees.

Very stiff, uncomfortable and difficult to fasten
These knee pads are very stiff. The pads are not comfortable at all.The straps are not easy to adjust -- and even when the adjustment has been made, it is not very secure - with the knee pads sliding down the legs.We were expecting the knee pads to be softer and flexible. They are hard, stiff, and not comfortable.Very disappointed.

Great knee protection
As a, um larger woman, being on my knees is not the most comfortable. In fact, it's downright painful. But it's necessary for me when cleaning the bathroom and baseboards in my home as well as other, uh, activities best done in private.Sure, these are kinda hard and not the comfiest kneepads i've ever experienced, but I think they live up to their price point. They slip on your leg and can be tightened by the elastic strap that is looped through the pad itself. The only downfall is that this strap routinely becomes loose and you will have to keep adjusting it. The pads themselves are hard on the outside but there is some comfort on the inside where your knees are touching it.These are perfect for what I needed them for, which is weekly household cleaning where i'm wearing them for 20 mintues at a time.

3-star item with a 5-star price. not thick and not for heavy duty use
I redid the concrete floor in my garage and needed a pair of knee pads while using an angle grinder on some low edges. these knee pads are functional for the price (less than $15). when putting them on, you need to pull off your shoes or boots in order to get them over your feet because the strap is so tight. They also move a little bit when you crawl, and its possible the knee could pop out. this is because the light weight plastic is not too flexible, nor is the fit snug. I disagree with the ad that implies the rubber is 'thick'. they are rather firm and hard compared to what I was expecting. this is a 3 star product, yet it is so cheap (5 star price), that if you don't need them regularly, it will do the job. So I bumped it to 4 stars
