First 50 Songs You Should Play on Drums

Not accurate from the get-go
Literally the first notes of the first song I tried are wrong: the Beatles' "Come Together". The book shows eighth notes on both the bass drum and the ride cymbal in the famous intro--only there is no ride cymbal. Then come the sixteenth-note triplets Ringo plays on the toms: the books wrong again. It has him going from the rack tom to the floor; famously, he was left-handed, and in the YouTube vid "Ringo Starr Shows How to play Ticket to Ride, Come Together and Back off Boogaloo" he explains that this is why he went the other way around, from the floor tom to the rack tom.)It's pretty hard for me to have much confidence after that. I've only tried one song, but it's a pretty simple one. Perhaps mysteriously this one song is wrong and the other 49 are tip-top, but it's hard to imagine. This book might help some drummers play something resembling a version of the songs. But those who want to play what the drummer actually plays in the recording are going to have to look elsewhere.

Great selection of songs.
Not really for beginners but some I can handle. Great selection, nonetheless.
