Not a lot of detail. But what a great kit to make better. Fit is great and it's very easy to build.. No glue needed. I still use glue just so if it's knocked over. I don't loose parts. It's a good starting point for aftermarket parts and details.It's also one of the only kits that can be made into a Hurricane of the famed Polish 303 Squadron. The group that saved England during the Battle of Britain. This is my 2nd time purchasing this kit. It's that good. As for the shipping. It was fantastic. Less than 3 days from order, to delivery.Yes I would purchase it again. Probably will.

For a snap kit I thought this was a nicely done model. Definitely higher quality than I expected.

Great model, and it looks beautiful when painted and with decals

It matches 100% the length, span and shape of the plans in the Richard Franks' book (Modeller's Guide series). As others have noted it has a pebble-like finish and slightly overdone recessed panel lines. Nothing a primer coat or a liberal application of Mr. Surfacer 1200 wouldn't fix.Decals are also good, better than Tamiya's or Hasegawa's, in register, easy to apply.The wing thickness is too much, you will need to sand that down a bit, I'd say between the top and the bottom should lose about 0.3 to 0.5 millimeters each. One thing this kit doesn't have -and neither does the old Airfix kit, is the lower wing is fairly flat, and that the wing tip edges 'drop' from top to bottom. See attached picture.Cockpit detail is extremly thick and oversimplified, this is supposed to be an introduction to modeling, so the youngsters won't mind. The super-detailer can either scrape off the existing detail and either add an aftermarket cockpit or scratchbuild.I can't get over how accurate this kit is. If you can overlook the rough finish -or are willing to smooth by lots of sanding then you won't regret getting it, especially for a low price -I paid USD $9.99 plus local tax at my local hobby shop, and I am very glad I got it.
