34-Inch Children's Plastic Cloud Print Umbrella

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of the cheap price, but after reading poor reviews of other kids' umbrellas that cost 2-3x as much as the Rainstoppers, I decided to give them a chance and purchased these to be included in my daughters' (ages 5 & 7) Easter baskets. My girls absolutely LOVE them, and I am honestly impressed with the quality! They have already held up during two downpours and been a quintessential item at more tea parties than I can count! They are super adorable, and very easy for both of my daughters to open and close. They also have a nice little strap to keep them closed tightly went not in use. I am sure there are higher quality kids' umbrellas out there, but you aren't going to beat what you get for this price! I would definitely buy this brand again, hopefully they will come out with a similar one more geared towards little boys when my son is older! :)

I ordered two of these. They are cute as can be. One has held up really nicely, and I've had them for about 6 months with probably monthly use by a 5 and 8 year old. But the other of them--one of the metal spokes bent on its second use, and my daughters weren't rough with it at all. I wouldn't order it again. If you do order it, check it out thoroughly, open and close it a bunch of times, and make sure you got a good unit before your 30 day return window expires. If you get a good one, it sure is cute!

The best thing about this umbrella is the cloud design, which is simply adorable. I found it hard to find a cute umbrella for a little boy that wasn't loaded with gender stereotypical images, so I was pleased when I came across this. I'm deducting two stars, though, because the spokes are unusually soft. We had the umbrella open on the floor, and an older child ran into it... and bent them. I'm assuming it's perhaps a safety feature that they are so malleable, and the fact that they were so malleable also meant I was able to put them back to normal pretty easily. But I wonder about the overall quality.

This is such a cute kids sized umbrella. My daughter wishes it was a little bigger, but she realized she can hold it lower and cover herself really well. She was afraid that it was too small and she would still get wet. It is put together well and we have not had any problems with the durability of it. The primary user is 6 years old and she has no problems opening and closing it herself.

I didn't read the description closely enough to see that this umbrella is made of a thick plastic, not fabric. (My fault!) That being said, it seems durable enough so far especially given the price. It's the perfect size for my 5-year-old, but perhaps just a bit on the small side for my 7-year-old. They both love the spider print and playing in the rain with it. The umbrella does the job as far as keeping their head and torso dry. Doesn't seem to keep their feet out of puddles though. :)

Great little umbrella for 3 year old. My daughter loves it. The only con is that she sometimes pinches her fingers opening and closing it. For something that's marketed for toddlers, they should know kids insist on doing things themselves and make a more kid friendly mechanism for opening/closing.

I used this as a unique Easter basket idea for my daughter. It's the perfect size for a small child, but older, bigger kids will likely be disappointed( my daughter is 7 and it's just the right size). The colors are bright, and it's held up well to her play.

Very cute umbrella. A little bit small for my tall 5 year old, but it worked. My daughter loved that she was able to see through it. After having it for a month and a half, it had to be trashed. About 4-5 of the prongs holding the metal to the plastic broke and was irreparable. My daughter (age 5) was heartbroken. Purchased another umbrella around the same price point from Wal-Mart that was larger and sturdier.

Poor quality. Dollar store umbrella is better. Although design is nice and bright, the wrap around button to hold umbrella together broke on the very first attempt to open the umbrella from the delivered box! There is no button to open umbrella automatically, so not very kid-friendly. And the skeleton wires do not align with the partitions of the umbrella. Very poor construction!Better opt for dollar store umbrella in the future!!!

I bought two umbrellas this one and the clear one with hearts. They both broke after 2 times being used. They are both just PLASTIC!! The top broke off this one and the heart umbrella actually split open on the seam and one of the spokes came off. Very poorly made. Would NOT recommend.

I nought this for my 3 year old daughter, the picture is a bit misleading because it's hard to tell that the umbrella is actually clear with polkadots, but it's still a great little thing and just perfect for her. She's able to open and close it without pinching her fingers and has had a few chances to use it so she's happy, therefore I'm happy.

Just took out of box, holes all around the umbrella, and top is missing a piece, it's sharp so child can hurt themself. Don't buy.

Why didn't I read the reviews before I bought this? It is very cheap - the entire bar is completely warped so when you hold the handle it is the shape of a banana. Save your money and go to the dollar store.

Cute umbrella but poorly made.The snap on the tie that holds it closed pulled off after the first use. ( Happened to me, not my child )Considering this is made for children, I would think it would be made a little more durable.Would not buy again or recommend.

Looked good but did not last long in the hands of a six year old. Maybe a week? I've had others from this brand that lasted longer, so maybe it was just bad luck. I didn't replace it with another clear-plastic umbrella, but went back to a fabric umbrella hoping it would last longer.

Small Umbrella, great for a toddler. Did not specify which colour it was, as there was two shown-- unfortunately I got the pink one for my son. Its very cute, he still loves it. Id recommend for a girl though

It works better than I first thought it would. My toddler hasn't broken it yet, so that's something! I'm not sure the quality is all that great though.

Extremely flimsy. The first one I ordered came with a broken spike. Returned it for replacement. The second one had a cut in its canopy. Returned that as well. Do not recommend.

Cheap. I would not buy this again.
