Love the internal strainer basket that prevents clogs. Super easy for the tile setter to install and the result is discrete and beautiful.

I like the thin edge frame to help hold tile in place if you are using the tile in drain side. If not, you have the option to flip it and use the metal finish side which also has a very modern look. It’s sturdier and catches hair. I honestly like these better than the tile in schluter kerdi drains because the schluter tile in drains have no edges and it’s hard to get the tile to stay in place.

For our bathroom remodel, I didn't want the standard round or square drain. This looks great and is perfect for our shower! I run about 80 PSI water and use a dual head shower in a free state, so plenty of water needs to drain off. I've had -0- issues with draining. The new shower is also my favorite way to give the dogs baths (yes, I wear a swimsuit for that. Geez... 🙄), which is the only time I've had some clogging. Fortunately, the dog hair piles into the hair strainer, which is easy to pull out and dump. Couldn't be happier, great drain!

This is a beautiful drain. Much nicer than standard shower drains. We had remodeled from tub to shower and love that it can be used with the same tile as the rest of the shower. It makes almost seamless. Also can be used as brushed nickel when flipped over.

This drain looks good, with the same tile on cover it nicely blends with the rest of the tiles on a floor. However, I had some problem with it. The soapy water flow is limited in the drain gap that leads to the pipe. As a result you stay in a soapy puddle when taking a shower. After shutting water, it slowly drains off. Bernkot support was really nice and sent me "normal" drain with holes for free. This one works fine. So, this product might work or might not work for you. I guess it depends on how much soap you use or maybe on the angle of your bathroom floor.

The product exhibits superior build quality, functionality, and design. When integrating with a Schluter shower pan, ensure the pan is countersunk beforehand; otherwise, the height will be incompatible with the Schluter system.

This is a must if you have long hair. It catches all that hair that will eventually clog your drain. Contractor was able to insert same tile as the floor, looks great. Need to clean out every 2 weeks. I ordered one 2 years ago for master bath remodel and then this one 18 months later for guest room shower remodel.
