Makes bracelet making a lot easier!
I used this to string beads for complex bracelets and it’s a lot easier! Helps to avoid string fraying and makes it easier to weave patterns :)

Use to re string shorts
Great size sturdy. I use it to restring my sons, athletic shorts because the string breaks regularly, and we have to restring them.

Durable!
I always need lots of these needles. I’ve never had any problems with them breaking , but always seem to get lost. I can never have too many of these!

Not suitable for stringing popcorn.
These needles are as pictured and I have no complaints about the product. However, for anyone planning to use them for kids to string popcorn (as I was) just beware these needles are too large and it doesn’t work, the popcorn cracks in half.

Exactly what I needed
Different size needles with a couple different size openings. A flexible plastic, which I prefer over stuff metal. There is not threader included so if you need one I'd add it to your cart separately. However, I found it very easy to thread size 4 yarn with no issues like separation or bunching. They are not particularly sharp on the ends so I would recommend them for sewing yarn thrown fabric.

Only the smallest needle will fit through plastic "canvas" mesh...
I bought this to teach young kids (including ones that can't be "trusted" with real, pointy, metal needles either yet or maybe never due to disabilities) stitches on craft plastic canvas mesh. I dunno if the plastic canvas mesh can be purchased in different sizes of mesh holes - but in what looks like the "standard" size, only the smallest needle will fit through the holes in the mesh.I tried two "yarns" threaded double. One is 100% cotton sock darning stuff from Walmart, the other is DMC embroidery floss. The sock darning stuff, while thicker - was slightly easier to pull through? Maybe it seemed that way because the thickness of the yarn anchored it to the mesh well with the first stitch. The embroidery floss would have to be anchored or you run the danger of yanking the end out of the project without an anchor stitch. I definitely flipped the scrap over just to push the needle through using the tabletop as a thimble while doing the couple embroidery floss stitches 'cuz my fingers got a little tired doing just six stitches. If I can find bigger-holed mesh they'd be more useful. I might try to find some "soft" burlap that could be more fun to sew on using an embroidery hoop to keep the fabric stiff and steady for the young-uns.Edited to add: the medium sized ones are perfect for learning stitches using 5 squares-per-inch latch-hook rug mesh. I've ordered a couple bulk packages of just the medium sized needle and hope they get here soon. The biggest ones seem like they would make good bodkins for such a cheap price.
