DouglasAshes Wolf Plush Stuffed Animal

My Ashes Wolf looks pretty close to what the picture shows. It's small but very cute and VERY soft. I love the texture of his fur. Douglas Toys makes some of the best wolf plush I've seen, and this one is no exception. I'm a collector, but this item would be great for kids too because it's small and easy to hold and carry.Only gave it three stars in educational value because in and of itself it doesn't really educate. It's just a stuffed animal, but you could definitely use it as an educational tool about wolves if you were so inclined. Durability I gave only four stars because again it's just plush. I doubt it would withstand any major trauma, but the stitching is good and the fabric is this, so that's a plus. Neither of these affect the overall review for me, because it lives up perfectly well to my expectations.

This is absolutely adorable. It's small, but not so small you'll lose it. It's great quality. My cat ended up playing with it and it withstood playtime without any damage. I'm sure it could stand up to a child's playtime too. The toy is very soft and lightweight. It can also stand on its legs without falling over. Overall, a great little toy!

It was super soft and cuddleable. For any questions about the rock, it is just for posing. Not included. It looks kind of like a chihuahua in person but still like a wolf. Its super adorable and I definitely recommend it. I looked at several other wolf stuffies when purchasing and this one was the best.

Purchased this for my sister-in-law's baby shower. The size is small, which is exactly what I wanted, but it's an extremely good value. The face is sweet for a wolf. Highly recommend.

First off before I begin my review I would like to say that when I first saw this wolf on Amazon.com I completely fell in love with it and set aside some money to purchase it. After I read all of the positive reviews, it was a done deal and it arrived in just a few short days after I bought it. :D Yay for the seller!Unfortunately, though, when I opened the package my excitement ended there because it was not exactly what I was expecting. :(Like some of the other reviews said, it was very small which I actually wanted, but when I took it out of the package it was not nearly as soft as the other reviewers had lead me to believe it would be and I was quite disappointed. It was also not a borwnish-grey color, like the picture showed, and it looked a bit cheaper than I had been expecting. Don't get me wrong, it was still cute and in fact did look like a wolf, not a dog, but it just wasn't as good of a plush as I had thought it would be. In all honesty, I think if a small child or toddler were to play with it they could easily rip off the tail in a matter of minutes. The legs are quite thick and strong, which means it would be hard for a toddler to rip those off, but overall I'd say if it were played with too roughly it could end up becoming ruined. It doesn't take much to rip off the tail then unravel the seams that it leaves out in the open.But, since I do not intend to play roughly with it or give it to a toddler any time soon, I would say that for my purposes it is just fine and I will indeed be keeping it. It's face is still unlike any other wolf face I have ever seen, so I cannot bring myself to return it or sell it to someone else. If you are looking for a cute plush that is mildly soft and very small, I would recommend this to you as a good addition to your collection. If you intend on getting it for a small child or for the sake of it being extremely soft or durable, I would look elsewhere because that description does not hold true for this plush.Overall, I think I would give it four stars because while it was not exactly what I expected, it came fast to my door and was still close to what I thought it would be.

This Wolf went to my son for his classroom. The mascot at the school where he teaches is a wolf. It's so soft and the kids love it in the classroom. It's very cute. Wolves are so hard to find that are cute and not either scary or just plain ugly!! So glad all the kids love this. They use it sometimes if they are having a bad day or just to snuggle while reading in the classroom...

Although it is really cute, it is a lot smaller than what it looks online. I was very disappointed to see how small it was. I paid too much for it.

How does the manufacturer, themselves, not list accurate measurements? This is the 2nd AND LAST purchase that the Douglas store lied about dimensions. I wouldn't be so mad if i didn't have to continue to console a kid who keeps doing extra to earn to buy these over priced stuffed animals!
