英語の文体に慣れるのにかなり苦労して、半分近く読み進むまでこの本の良さがわからなかったが、後半にだんだんのめり込み、深く印象づけられた。読み終わってから。よくわからなかった前半をもう一度読み直そうと再度読み始めたが、今度は細かいところまでよくわかって、物語の奥深さを知ることができた。

I really liked this book. The characters were well developed and I was rooting for everyone.

I’ve never felt so invested in a story and I can only hope my heart isn’t broken again at the end. I’m slowly reading this book; every sentence is so beautifully written. Chris has a style of writing that feels like painting. It’s a visceral experience; I’m so engaged I want the book to just keep going.
