I followed the instructions to get the size that closest resembles my door, but it's too short and not wide enough. 32"/82", I need 34"/83".

Just vacationed at my mom’s and she had one of these. The dog learned very quickly that he could run through so I got one for my sliding door at home. I think I hung it a little too low so it has a hard time closing sometimes but that is my fault. I might try to fix it but the tiny bit that stays open on the bottom does not really bother me. Dogs are already running in and out and it was much cheaper than a doggy door, especially since I have a Great Dane (not pictured). I used staples to make sure it stays up after reading about issues with adhesion. Took me no time to get it up and I already love the ease of not having to stop what I am doing when busy to let my pups in and out.

Even though it was a bit too large for my patio door, it was very easy to modify it make it fit. The magnetic closet is strong yet you can go through it super easy, and it was an breeze to install. The velcro is easy to install and super strong, but if you want you can use tacks or nails to hold it up if you don't want the residue of the Velcro adhesive to make marks on the walls/edge.I just had to remove a small magnet near the bottom so it could be hemmed to fit the length but it doesn't effect how it closes. My dog can go in and out as she likes and it honestly is a better alternative to a doggy door.
