Way better than all the others. If you have to doo the right thing and pack out the poo, El Crap makes it easier. Better tp, better enzymes and a little fancy handiwipe too. All sealed and laying about in the desert, it didn't smell as bad when we packed it up to go. It still had to be delivered to the first dumpster we found but alass we weren't holding our nose or crying about it.

With the need to "leave no trace" and pack all things out, I chose El Crap to provide a sanitary way to carry out my crap. Blue bags were used on Rainier back when I climbed that peak. However, I wanted a better method. El Crap provides an excellent product for that purpose. The silver zip-lock outer bag holds all the contents safely and securely. Inside a large pink bag is provided to place under you as you do your business. I first sprinkled the powder packet to eliminate odor then did my duty! (he said duty!!) Also provided is toilet paper and a wet wipe for cleanup. El Crap really should get 4.5 stars because there just wasn't enough toilet paper for my business. So carry extra if you use more than 6 sheets. Since my buddy and I both carried our used El Crap bags up and back down the mountains in Colorado, we thought we were a little anal retentive. I recommend El Crap and will carry it on every trip into the wilds.

When you have to crap in a bag for a week of your life, you’ll definitely want to crap in this bag. The opening is super wide… it would be really hard to miss. Each bag comes with toilet paper & a wet wipe (absolute luxury in the backcountry). It is a little bit bulky when packaged up and it is not stink-proof so I highly recommend bringing a separate trash bag to put the used ones in. Hiking out with it is stinky lol.

Lined a 5 gal bucket with it. 5 days on an island fit into the liner bag, but I couldn't zip it into the outside. I use a decent amount of TP. Will change at 4 days in the future.
