let me tell you this i have sold mre fosgate than anyone you will ever meet. since the late 80's. built a number of high end stereo shops. remember this if nothing elese,Power doesn't blow speakers,lack of pwr blows speakers. well people blow then also, but never pwr. You may overdrive one ,but that will not blow.i got the Bd1000 mono anp on a single vc 8'' 3208 is the model of the spk.

it sounded really flat and disappointing when i first installed in to replace the factory sub on the rear deck. I soon placed it into a sealed enclosure in the trunk and now it rocks the entire car.

No these are for sealed, ported boxes, bandpass etc.. Never free air for these
