This product is solid and fits my needs perfectly. It doesn't slip or slide when I push my chair around like other products that I have tried. (i.e., the clear vinyl with "gripping knobs" on the bottom). The 4 x 6 area is perfect for use at my desk. I have it on a laminated wood floor to prevent my chair from tearing up the floor. The hardness scale is 60, which is just a bit softer than a rubber tire (hardness 70).

I Have several new workbenches, and in order to keep the tops from scarring I lay the rubber pad on top of the bench. Works great, and there is no tool slippage. dok

I've ordered this material twice, for use as a buffer between steel plates and a concrete pad. I've not tested it for compression strength, but its rated strength seems to reasonably match its appearance and feel.
