they were both faulty i work in electronics both were bad/faulty

but other than that it does what it says it does

I have had drift on my switch lite for the last few months. It wasn't that bad and since I use my lite mostly for tetris 99, I didn't use the stick that much. Now that Animal Crossing is out, I am using the stick more; the issue was getting worse and more annoying. It was to the point that I was playing with my pro controller connected to my lite. I picked this up and it came quick (original arrival date was the 25th (ordered on the 20th), but it still arrived on the 22nd. You should note that this kit doesn't include the tri-wing driver or philips that you need to do the replacement, just some extra screws (that you don't need unless you aren't careful and end up stripping the tri-wing screws). The replacement took less than 20 minutes, following a youtube video of the left stick replacement (it looks like the right stick replacement is a bit harder and more involved - the video said that the right stick may be too much for most people on the switch lite). Put everything back together and I am happy to report that this stick works perfectly. The color is a good match for the original and feels like the sticks probably felt when they we’re new.Update 11/2021: My left stick finally started to die again, but instead of drift, it started to be unresponsive when pushing to the right. Couldn’t remember where I put the extra stick from the last swap so I bought a new one.
