Rather thicker that expected but did the job. Comes in a polystyrene pack but the reel needs to be in a bag as it picks-up polystyrene bits... Don't forget with this stuff - warm it up before use, including the frame you wish to seal, used on LR windows, seems to get a great seal, all parts its fitted to - must be Clean en Dry, no oil/grease either - Only time will tell with seal..!Avoid warming glass - could crack.... warming metal will retain heat for sometime. Warmed using a Hot air gun... on low Temp-setting.... Apply Butyl with its protective strip under your thumb/fingers, once pushed into place lower glass - be careful to ONLY touch glass to 'Butyl' - Exactly where its to be fitted - once clean glass touches the Butyl its hard to go back a stage. Once glass is placed you 'Can't move it around'. Good luck.

Its butyl sealant tape and works as expected, however, the packaging assumes that all the tape will be used in one go so putting the roll back is a little combersome and the packaging tends to stick to the remaining tape because the roll becomes smaller and moves around in its original packaging. This can be resolved by wrapping any unused tape in wax paper.

I am going to assume it's 16.5 feet when flattened for use, no chance the coil as it arrived is that long.No instructions included, it relies on you already knowing how to use the product which isn't ideal for less experience DIY people.Well protected in non-stick paper so it doesn't end up in a big clump, not sure if it will dry out over time as it's not sealed in a tub.No labels of any kind included, no safety notice, ingredients or storage instructions.It was easy enough to apply, we used it to replace the sealing on a glass shower surround. we cleaned off and fully dried the area, left it for 24 hours before applying the sealant tape. We used the end of a wooden spoon to make sure we got it fully in to all cracks and corners, left again for another 24 hours before using the shower and so far it seems to have fixed the problem. There is no noticeable leak anymore and no spotting of water coming through, will be interesting to see how long it lasts.We didn't need to use a great deal so plenty left if/when it breaks down.£15.99 seems to be about average for this quantity of similar products, down to personal preference if you like this type of sealant products and if you know how to use it.Stars deducted for lack of labelling, instructions and storage.

Blijkt BMW het slim te vinden om een dun laagje, met butyltape vastgeplakt, piepschuim als " vapour-barrier" te gebruiken.Na 10 jaar was het hard en broos geworden en dus losgeraakt.
