Sant Eustachio Whole Beans Coffee in Can, 8.8 Ounce

I first had this when I was in Rome. I buy this every once in a while to remind me of the trip. Is it the same,no, but I do enjoy a cup when having breakfast outside in the morning and it doesn't get any better than that.

Every time I go to Rome, Italy (which is frequent) San Eustachio has always been my favorite espresso. However, purchasing this product online has been huge disappointment, and I'll never buy online again. If you have ever had the pure delight of drinking this freshly roasted, OR if your standards are higher than stale, old roasts, don't waste your time or money on this product.

I thought the roast of the bean was going to be darker than a light to medium roast. I prefer a bean that is roasted medium to dark, so the flavor profile for me was too mild

Weak.

For some reason, the can violently POPPED upon opening, scaring the crap outta me and distributing about 1/6 of the beans in the can all over the kitchen. WOW was it loud and jarring and the beans flew all over the place.That out of the way, it's delicious! A little lighter than I might have expected/liked, as other have mentioned, but very, very good from automatic Saeco machine.

We had this in Italy over a year ago but have been ordering it on Amazon since then! Would highly recommend it to any serious coffee connoisseurs who love dark coffee.

No way near as good as being there in Rome. However, it is still a good cup of joe.

Weak, little crema, little aroma. Disappointed.
