VESSEL MEGADORA Screwdriver Set 8pcs. 9008EVA (EVA foam set) - Factory

I love these screwdrivers. The JIS bit works amazing in anything Japanese made. I like these better than my Snap-on screwdriver set that cost 3 times and much money. These pictures prove how well they grasp screws.

This is by far the finest set of screwdrivers I've ever had the opportunity to use. As a "weekend warrior" type gear head, I have full sets of Wera and Wiha drivers as well. While neither of those brands are slouches, they are not at the same level of these Vessel drivers in both screw holding and grip comfort. I'm now a Vessel man.

Brand name hardware store and tool truck screwdrivers are caveman tools when compared to Vessel drivers.Apologies to all the motorcycles and consumer electronics I've owned that I worked on with non-JIS screwdrivers and sold with slightly destroyed screws.I liked them so much I tracked down the other style - gray handles have a through shaft so they can be hit with a hammer to break any corrosion stopping a screw from turning.Phillips head screws no longer have a degree or two of movement before contact is made, these fit like a glove.They have comfortable handles and the shaft knurling is not rough on bare hands and still rough enough to be used with gloves. I thought the semi-soft handles would collect grease and oil but they don't and they're nicer to grip than the hard plastic styles

When these arrived, and I opened them, I was blown away by the quality of these screwdrivers, and the case.I had heard good things over the years about Vessel, and had some small ones for hobby use. I work on Japanese cars all day, and I never appreciated the JIS screws and differences as much as I do now. When you see/feel how these fit in a JIS/phillips style screw, you will see what I mean, the fit is incredible. Besides that, the build quality and the rubberized handles feel great. The case is super nice, and looks great. These come highly recommended!

Don't buy this set, if you don't already own any of their screw drivers. This a great set, but I bout the impact drivers separately, and should have looked at a set first.So if you don't already own any Vessel screwdrivers, get either the Impacta set, which has the impact screw drivers, or the Tang Through set, which are a bit stronger. I think the Impacta set is far better value, especially if you do auto repair on Japanese vehicles and need to break screws loose.
