Perfect Cool-Toned Brow Pen!I've struggled to find an eyebrow product that truly has a cool-toned brown shade. Most "brown" pencils I’ve tried from various brands end up looking too warm, with red or orange undertones that don’t match my brows. The NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Lift & Snatch Eyebrow Tint Pen in Ash Brown is a game-changer!The color is a true ash brown—no unwanted warmth—which blends seamlessly with my natural brows. The tip is precise, allowing me to create fine, hair-like strokes for a natural look. Application is easy, and the formula is buildable without looking harsh or overly pigmented. Use a very light hand so the strokes look natural. If you are too heavy handed just use an eyelash brush to blend.The only downside is that I noticed some fading after about 4-5 hours, but a quick touch-up brought my brows back to life. Overall, it’s a great product, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cool-toned brow pen!

But I'm so happy with it so far that I'm reviewing it anyway in case it helps anyone with no eyebrows at all. I have basically none. I pull them out.The pics are on oily skin at maybe 3 p.m. and again after work at about 11 p.m. I bravely wore these to work even though it's 100°f outside and even though they might disappear or turn green. They didn't! I forgot to take a fully done pic but I wanted to show--there's basically no eyebrow, it's all pen except like 8 hairs lolI just got this pen today and I've used it one time. It's Espresso. It's summer now and I'm extremely oily even in the cold months. I started out with an oily face today, since I did brows in the afternoon. I didn't use any powder or primer or anything. I wasn't sweaty or damp when I put it on, just oily. It may be an issue using this in a humid room after showeringThese pics are way TMI for me lol but I wanted people to see how this works on textured/rough skin with no real hair, just like 5 o'clock black eyebrow shadow.The pen color is great, I have dark dark chestnut hair with a silver stripe and light light yellowish skin with red spots. It's almost my natural brow hair color.I usually use Wet n Wild micro pencils in brunette because it's such a good color and it's so hard for me to find stuff that works on my oily textured skin. But it is really hard to get the inside corners right, it can't do real hairline strokes, and it settles into my wrinkles and smears.The hair texture is giving CGI cat fur or turf, lol. But it's my first time doing it. My impression is that the brush is too soft. It's really hard to do straight strokes especially on my left side (I'm very right handed). They come out a little wiggly. Still 5000x better than usual thoughYou have to use a light hand; be mindful, intentional and slow; and start each "hair" in a strategic spot, you can't just randomly flick lol. I figured that out pretty quick but it's hard to control. Also I'd see a white spot/line I'd try to cover it and the soft brush would curve or bend and not cover the white spot. Like if you have any high spots the brush may go around them. I had to go back in and carefully cover white spots with like the very very very tiptop of the brush. But still, again, first time! And it took under 15 min. If you start the hairs in random spots instead of strategically it looks more bushy and grassy lol.They're definitely not perfect but you have no idea how much better they look, and the process is WAY less stressful and mistakes are easier to fix. It's way easier to draw on hairs than to try to ombre a wax pencil. It's way easier to manage the depth of the color by just adding hairs and covering more skinI wish so bad that it were waterproof!I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop lol so I'm guessing I'll have to come back and lower my rating but I'm really hoping not

So this is a great product for filling in missing hairs in your brows. However, be prepared to practice - there is definitely a learning curve for using this well. It takes a steady hand and a light touch. Also, I recommend you order a color LIGHTER than you think you need - trust me - it comes out dark. Good staying power - stays on all day. It's best to use along with a regular brow pencil - fill in your brows with the pencil first, then use this 'marker' device to create hairs within the colored-pencil area for a more natural brow look. It works, but takes a lot of practice to get right.

Love these! You can easily draw lines to fill in or do your whole brow. It's not like those stencil type or permanent marker type things that make it look like you have caterpillars for eyebrows. Which, yes, I know they are the trend, but not for me. I prefer the more natural look and this tool is just the thing for that. Highly recommend!!

The best brow pencil I’ve bought in a long time. I still outline my brows with MAC’s skinny brow pencil and I go in and make brow strokes with this pencil, in areas where my brow hairs are short/growing back. Works great and dries in like 30 secs. 10/10!

I give this 3 stars for the color change. When I first purchased, it came out a very deep red/auburn color. My husband remarked at how red my eyebrows looked… and that’s pretty red because I have red hair and compared to my natural red/orange hair, it looked fake red. Fast forward several days later, every time I used this, it came out super yellowish in a tacky dark yellow with a touch of highlighter yellow color in it. No more red, just tacky yellow. Idk why it changed so quickly, it’s almost like the colors weren’t mixed properly and I got the red first and then the other added colors in it. The only reason it got 3 stars instead of 1 is because I loved the ease of applying it. It went on very smoothly and stained the skin pretty evenly. After the color issue, I purchased another brand, and even though that was a closer color to what I wanted, it didn’t glide on as easily and consistently as this. I wish they could get their formula right, and I would love it.

The color is perfect. The tip of this is very fine which I love because it makes it easy to draw in hair by hair. Lasts a long time, doesn’t dry out. The tip also stays in perfect condition.

I use this product every single day. I finish my brows in about 5 minutes! It’s so easy to use no concealer needed, this tint pencil makes my eyebrows look so natural I get so many compliments with people thinking it’s my natural brow. 10/10 recommend.
