All-Natural Winter Traction, 40 lb, Bag

I have a spot outside my door where there is dripping, and rapid ice buildup is a major problem in the winter. Continually melting or removing the ice is useless (and impossible), so this stuff provides traction right on top of icy spots. You can just keep applying it to new layers of ice, and you end up with continued traction even as top layers melt. The main benefits for me are: 1) that it is reusable throughout the winter (can be swept up and re-spread). 2) non toxic for my dogs’ paws 3) safe for the garden and can just be swept into the landscape at the end of the season.

This is just what I needed to mix my DIY pon for my plants.. The stuff is great. the size is perfect . would definitely purchase again although it's gonna be a while because the bag is huge.

This product worked much better than salt or sand. It really provides amazing, safe traction on ice, even if a bit of snow falls on top of the ice and product. Highly recommended!

Must have purchase to deal with ice on my small farm. The only product that allows me to move two horses in and out. Adds instant traction for myself and my horses. Best product I’ve found out there. No others compare.

I used it to get an empty 53' dry van trailer off the sheet of ice the yard spotter parked it on, and even got enough traction to slide my tandems. On another note, it is basically fine gravel, so is more than a little overpriced. (Next winder I will just get a bucket full at my local stone place for around 5 bucks.

This product is fantastic, and a little goes a long way. We have collected two of the 10 pound shaker bottles for use on our sidewalks and driveway to prevent falls on spots that become very icy when the snow is melting and the water refreezes overnight. This 40pound bag will allow us to refill both shakers and should last us for several years at a little over $1per pound for the Volcanic Grit Traction aid. Be advised that if you order the 40# bag of EcoTraction, it might be shipped from another vendor besides Amazon. I received a FedEx Ground delivery on the first day of a three day range for when the package would be shipped, and it said nothing about Amazon on the Red and White W.W. Grainger box so I didn't want to open it in case it was miss-delivered. I called Grainger's closest warehouse and they carry the product so I went ahead and opened it to find our 40 pound bag!
