Powerful unit, take note of cooling and delicate power needs
Looks good, works well. No heatsink or a fan, so add cooling ASAP for it to have any reliability + longevity. The LattePanda is *extremely* sensitive re power and needs a good, stable source. I am using a Canakit 5V 2.5A adapter w/ micro-USB (marketed for Raspberry Pi's) that I recommend. Odds are your phone adapter and/or cable are not good enough even if they're rated 2.1A+. Runs Windows 10 great, Ubuntu OK -- it would be nice if manufacturer had a better Image than a CloneZilla of a Ubuntu 16.04 desktop they managed to get working.

Fantastic SBC with Arduino!
Don't know why there are so many negative reviews... Maybe I got lucky, but my LattePanda worked straight out of the box. Been using it to build my new project for 2 weeks now.So long as you have an appropriate power supply, as it doesn't come with one (I am using the one that came with my Raspberry Pi) and read the instructions to learn how to turn it on properly (you have to wait until the red light stops flashing, then press the side-button closest to the middle of the board) I don't think you should have any problems.Just such a shame that a small Kickstarter product like this is getting such a bad rep on Amazon - when it really is a remarkable piece of kit!I would wholeheartedly recommend LattePanda to anyone! If I have any issues with it in future, I shall update my review.

No good.
Go elsewhere, does NOT work as advertised.

Meh. Tends to overheat and throttle back. It's neat but the accessories for this device need to be readily available.
Meh.The CPU runs real hot. 180-190F doing menial tasks. The major obstacle when first powering this device on for the first time was figuring out how to do it!! No "getting started" instructions included, you must read the online manual to find out the startup procedure. You have to press an unmarked microswitch for 1 second, easy when you know how. Random switch clicking does not turn it on.Lattepanda website does have a cooling fan to keep the device cool. Guess what, you have to wait for it to come from the far east, not available on Amazon. I ordered the fan which indicated it was "in stock", got an email today saying the status has changed to "back ordered". Who knows when that might come. The plywood case sounds interesting, but that's the only option here, a plastic case is available if you order from the far east. The lack of readily available accessories is an issue. My first experience with Raspberry Pi was much better, I have 3 of those now doing various dedicated tasks.By the time you get a case, cooling fan, WIn10 key etc you are looking at $150, which is the price of a budget Chromebook which probably runs better. For a tiny Windows device this is interesting and I look forward to a community building around it. My initial interest in replacing Intel Computer Sticks (which tend to overheat and lockup if left on 24/7) has waned. Looks like the same issues will be present with this device, and its not as polished a product nor does it have the same support. Compute Sticks are cheaper. The one advantage LattePanda has over a compute stick is the ability to add a MicroSD Card for storage, this should mean major windows updates will actually work. I like that it has multiple USB ports and an Ethernet port. It can be used without having to resort to USB hubs and USB ethernet like a compute stick. The Lattepanda runs all Windows apps I've thrown at it. Its basically OK, but just not great. Yet.
