Peanut Butter Wonderworks Keto Friendly Breakfast Cereal, Keto Friendly Snack, 1g sugar, 10.6 oz

THIS IS FROM THE GODS OF KETO.Okay so the peanut butter flavor is fantastic. The other flavors are very bad. One flavor (cinnamon?) was EXACTLY tasting like soap that would NOT leave my mouth for a few minutes. I was worried i had to call poison control for advice. I wish i was joking but i was honestly very scared eating it for a few minutes. I mean i get scared easily but it definitely made me really nervous b/c the soap flavor was just so strong in my mouth. The chocolate flavor is bleh, its alright but very much way too subdued. Peanut butter is a home run!! I think maybe peanut butter is just a way easier flavor to get right. Another brand has a very good peanut butter flavor too. I forget its like that other super popular brand. Oh yeah magic spoon.I was doing Catalina crunch for a year from Whole Foods and they give you like half the serving size as this. Felt like definitely i was on the wrong side of the fence before discovering this cereal. Way more serving size and way more satisfying. I mean Catalina is still good,all of their flavors are good while this brand only has peanut butter that’s good, but their peanut buttter slays. It’s bomb, its the only one I’ve been getting. I dont even use the words ‘slays’ and ‘bomb’ in my vocabulary usually but I’ll vary my vocabulary for the sake of this cereal box review.

In my never ending search for delicious sugar free foods, I happened upon this tempting box with a chocolaty picture of delicious looking chocolate cereal. I figured because it was almost $10 per box it must be yummy so I bought it. The pieces in my bowl were air light, like..there was no weight to the mortals. I added milk, I could smell chocolate. I was so excited. I filled my spoon with a big bite and put it I to my mouth and.......it came right back out of my mouth and into the garbage can. It was REVOLTING! The taste of chemicals overwhelmed my taste buds. The artificial sweetner was so overpowering it wasn't describable. In the few moments it took fir me to walk across the kitchen to the garbage can and back to the table had afforded the cereal to absorb almost every drop of milk in the bowl. What were once small, cheerio sized ..I don't know what to call one piece of cereal... I'll just say "piece of cereal". They went from the size if a Captain crunch to the size of a cherry! They became ENORMOUS!! SCARY BIG!! And it still maintained the decorative shape of dry kernel? Grain? Whatever you call them! They absorbed so of my milk and became giant, gross, mushy pieces of ___________..I have no words. If like myself , you are on that constant search for good tasting sugar free foods... do not waste your time or your $10.00 on this stuff. I wish I had taken a picture dammit! I'm from that generation when we didn't have a camera in our hands 247. I threw it out without one thought of taking its picture... my memories of that horrible morning is enough to haunt me for a long time. Spare yourself. You don't want to see that!

So let's start with this disclaimer: This is for Keto people that are used to eating low carb substitutions. Reviews comparing these types of products to sugar filled/carb loaded cereals is not helpful at all and mostly irrelevant. That being said, this cereal is an okay substitution compared to Magic Spoon. Unfortunately, MS is very expensive so I like to wait until my discount store (Grocery Outlet in the West Coast) carries it. The good: it holds up good in unsweetened almond milk. Also tastes good as a snack by itself. The not so good: the texture once it sits in the almond milk for a few minutes. I tend to eat my cereal fast but I can see where these puffs can easily soak up all the liquid and turn into a gross, mushy mess. Its got the peanut butter flavor taste but the flavor is weak. Don't know how else to describe that. If you have tried the MS version, you know there's this salty/sweet peanut taste that is delicious and long lasting. I happen to have a gift card and some reward points so I got this literally for 0.39 cents so it definitely was worth a try.

I have scoffed at the fact that most health cereals don’t have a good texture, and I hate vegan foods too. I was absolutely shocked at this cereal. I was not expecting such an amazing chocolatey flavor, that tasted exactly like its sugary counterparts. Do you know what makes me just as shocked?? The fact people call the texture “chalky” and the flavor “disgusting” they even said the same people that would like this cereal eat the same vegan crap that tastes bad. I’m very, very disappointed. This is hands down one of my favorite cereals of all time. The chocolate taste is very prevalent. The texture is not airy and almost brownie like and keeps me coming for more. Thank you food company for making such a great product.

I ve ordered these while I was on keto diet,desperate to find decent snacks to add between my meals.I didn't of course expect the crisp or sweetest of regular cereal but my first impression was they were too mushy once you add milk with an intense taste of artificial sweetener.I thought maybe I'm a bit biased so gave it a second try the following day.Same result the texture and taste wasn't worth the cost of it.

As a diabetic who’s a sucker for cereal, I was excited to try this. The peanut butter flavor was pretty good and I was happy with it. I decided to give the fruity flavor a try but yikes.Maybe it’s my personal opinion, but it tastes like children’s medicine. I never waste food but I couldn’t finish the first bowl.I appreciate this company making keto friendly cereals. I just hope they rework the fruit flavor.

No after taste. Perfect for that mid day snack attack and keeping your carbs in check. Clean sweetener too. Nothing to cause gastrointestinal upset like some stuff does. I’m on a glp1 so this fits my needs.
