Tangkula Wall Mounted Desk, Folding Floating Wall Mount Laptop Desk, Space Saving Wall Mounted Table with Storage Drawer & Shelves (Black)

This is hands down the coolest invention if you have a small place but need a desk once & awhile. I needed a place out of the way for my seed bead collection. I am able to work with more than enough room on my seed beads & have a desk lamp on it with the tabletop down. Make sure you hang it at just the right height on a stud as it will need to take on some weight. My only major gripe is the stupid drawer at the bottom, it is pointless! It doesn't have any gliders or anything to catch it when pulled out so it flops around haphazardly & you can't use it when the table is down so idk why they even put it on there.

It is exactly what I was hoping for! The only suggestion I would have for the seller is to be more clear about the movable joints that open and close the front panel/desk. When I opened the plastic shrink-wrap package which contained screws, knob, etc, the joints fell out at the same time so it took me awhile to figure out which side each joint should be on. At least have them shrink wrapped separately so they don't fall out together. The overall look is really nice but keep in mind, buyers, it is small. Basically enough space for a laptop, some lightweight books, and a pencil holder or two. It arrived in perfect condition, no scratches and nicely packaged. But the best part is that it arrived at least 5 days sooner than expected so I was thrilled! I would have given 4 stars but due to its early arrival, I'm bumping it up to 5 stars! Very happy with this purchase.

I was looking forward to this product so much, as I was hoping for a small space efficient desk that would work well in my guest room. This desk was honestly not worth the trouble. First, the materials come without complete labeling so while some pieces have the correct identifiers others don’t (which leaves you guessing what goes where). The latches and hooks for the folding table are not easy to screw in and without a drill will bulge out from the wood making closing the table a hassle. Latching to the wall was another challenge. The directions do not clearly illustrate how to hang the desk, however when you get to this step it can help to have a second person there to make sure the desk doesn’t pull off the wall completely. Honestly there should be more security for this desk to ensure it will stay put. Once hung, it looks nice, is functional, and gets the job done. But the assembly and hanging process isn’t worth it in my opinion.

Bang for your buck. This things steardy and so much more practical than a desk.

Terrible manufacturing flaws. Literally every single part is chipped and/or the edge banding was poorly installed. Not a single screw hole is aligned. Top doesn't sit at 90⁰. Desk is not square. Complete waste of money and time. Thankfully I can get my money back...

Concerns I have about this product: 1. The desk is extremely small. Almost nothing “desk-related” (tape dispenser, stapler, paper, etc.) will fit the small cubby holes. The picture is very deceiving. 2. I’m worried if any pressure is placed on the fold-down writing shelf, the unit will break or fall from the wall. 3. There are no round dots to cover exposed screw heads. The unit looks unfinished. 4. Assembly was a nightmare! On more than one occasion during the multiple hours it took me to complete this task, I wanted to give up. Anyone who says this desk is easy to assemble (or can be easily assembled by one person) is a master carpenter/woodworker. First, there are no words on the directions, only pictures. Many steps require multiple actions and there is nothing that tells you which action to take first. Some parts can only work correctly if placed a certain direction and it’s impossible to tell from the pictures which direction is correct. The most difficult assembly is the fold-down shelf. Do you attach the hinges first or the two arms the hold the shelf? Hinges are pre-attached to the shelf, but those hinges have to be attached to the box in a space that man-sized hands don’t fit to maneuver the screwdriver. And if the hinges aren’t perfectly aligned, the shelf won’t fold flush into the box and the tiny latch won’t work. Lastly, hanging the finished unit on the wall is very difficult. After much frustration, I discovered why there are notches on the back of the box (never shown in any of the picture directions). Measuring without allowing for the notches means you have to move the brackets after they’ve been attached to the wall with anchors! After the time, energy, and frustration this desk caused me, I just hope it will be a place where I can pay my bills and do some computer work. EDIT: i have used the desk for a few days and my “sturdiness” concerns were unfounded. It has stayed securely on the wall. Also, it appears that a major goal for this company is to provide good customer service, something becoming more rare in the retail industry. They responded to my review quickly, offered a fair compensation for my concerns, and seemed willing to improve their product in the future. What more could we, the consumer, expect?

I needed a place for my clients to ‘check out’ and a place to keep a few office supplies. I looked for something small and came across this desk. It assembled easily and hangs nicely in my studio. The middle slots hold paperwork, etc but not like a small binder. The little shelves hold smaller items like tape and post-it’s and there’s a drawer below as well. I like the look of the desk, it does what I need it to and I think it’s an attractive piece that is well made.

My daughter uses her desk frequently. She overstuffed it a lot, and it still held up well. It won't close if anything is sticking out, but I expect that. She draws and colors in her books on it, often with her sister, and it holds up. My sons have the same desk at the foot of their bed and don't use it as much, but that is not due to the desk. I think the manufacturer did a good job of making a desk that is usable but not too big to overwhelm the space. The desk top might be a bit small for some. Think of it as being the size of a stand alone school desk- not the kind that attach to the chairs, but the regular ones. My daughter sometimes leaves hers open 24/7 at the foot of the bed, and it doesn't intrude enough to bother her.

Bought this for our bedroom because it's very tiny and there is not enough room for nightstands on the floor. Was skeptical of the quality of this when buying it, but very impressed. Goes together nicely and actually had metal pieces (unlike other companies who send plastic parts). Very impressed!

We have limited space and installed this in our laundry room so I could have a place to put on my make-up and not occupy our bathroom. It worked out perfectly for my needs. Cute, compact and so efficient.

It’s fine - the assembly and install was long and annoying, took me about 2 hrs. Instructions were mostly clear, except one page that had a board drawn that wasn’t numbered in the image and what shown different that the actual board, but process of elimination you’ll figure it out. Some pre drilled holes don’t align which was frustrating, but in the end it worked out. Working from it, so far it’s okay. I feel nervous to put much weight on it, but I think it will hold so … 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sturdier than prior reviews indicated, and after a whole lots IKEA assemblies this was simple. Just took some time. Parts are NUMBERED!

Easy to follow instructions. Be sure to understand which part is 6 and which is 9. It takes some time to put together but isn’t hard to do. One hinge was installed crooked do the hinge Was vent and didn’t work properly. I had no choice but to fill one of the existing holes and drill a new one. Some of the locking hardware pieces didn’t seat properly and there was also some damage to the front piece that I will have to cover or paint.
