I bought this hat for two reasons. First I drive an open car and second I am taking medication which makes my skin very sun sensitive and hair is rather thin. For driving I have been wearing baseball caps but find the peak can flutter and pull the hat off at speed so thought I would try this.So far very pleased with it. It fits well and seems to come down lower on the head than baseball caps so has shown no sign of coming off in the car. It's lightweight and comfortable and as well as keeping the sun at bay is also quite cool to wear. In fact my wife has now bought one for in the car to stop her hair blowing as she has found the same problem with baseball caps.The only downside is that my teenage granddaughter is unimpressed with the look and has asked me not to wear it when I am with her. I am not really a hat person but two things came together. A need due to medication to avoid exposure to sun and the baseball cap I keep for driving my open car was getting past it's best.I have never tried this style of cap but it looked OK for keeping the sun off as well as offering something a little different in the car. First impression is very good. It fits lower than any baseball cap and feels quite secure on the head which is not always the case when driving a speed. Also baseball cap peaks can vibrate when driving but that does not seem the case with this style.The quality seems pretty good as well but this is a hat that costs about the same as a packet of fags so am not expecting a lifetime of use. If it survives the summer, which I think it will, I will be more than happy.My wife was so impressed that she has ordered one for driving as well and I have ordered a second in a different colour.I find reviews help my buying decisions so if this helps you please click the "helpful" button so I know I am not wasting my time.

Seriously, this really is the best flat cap I've ever bought! Unlike cloth and cotton caps, it doesn't crease as easily and has a smoother finish. Fits perfectly and sits nicely above the ears without being too wide or long at the sides. The side straps allow you to tighten the cap for a very comfortable fit. Will definitely be buying more of these.

I've got to say I've been impressed by the stuff from Voboom so far (4 purchases). Design & execution is great.Adjustable fitment means it should be comfy for most heads. The adjustment buckle works easily after opening the popper button.I've got to say I'm really happy I don't have to wear a baseball hat this summer to protect my bald head. I get a cooling breeze with this design!

My partner wears it in the summer, his bald head is cool and not burnt so I got him one in grey for work he works on the roof and one in white for casual wear.
