Q: Does this product, by limiting heat dissipation, affect the life-span of the oven?

I don't think anybody could confirm that without completing a side by side study. Plenty of heat escapes from all sides of the oven. There is a gap between the oven and the board. Breville manufacturers and sells the board for the purpose of placing on top of the oven. I trust they have done their part to ensure it is safe.

Q: will this bamboo board also fit the Breville Smart Oven Pro?

Don't know, but the board is 17 1/2" x 10", and the little feet it sits in are 15 5/8" x 9 3/4" (outside dimension)

Q: Will it fit the breville bov845bss smart oven (the next model up the product line)?

The BOV800XL Smart Oven and BOV845BSS Smart Oven Pro share equal dimensions. This accessory would fit either model in the same way.

Q: Anyone buy and use this on the bov900bss (the smart oven air model)? wondering if the feet fit the same recesses.

There is a larger matching model, the BOV900ACB, which is available to order here: https://www.amazon.com/Breville-BOV900ACB-Bamboo-Cutting-Board/dp/B07168H3DP - I've also seen it listed on a competitor's website under "smart oven air cutting board", if you don't want to wait the 1-2 months Amazon is claiming it will take to ship. It's a few bucks more, and a few inches wider.
