Great hot water bottle, need to improve packaging
I have used Fashy bottles for many years. They are great and last a long time. Unfortunately, on my last order the bottle arrived in only a cellophane wrapper which had split open during shipping. The bottle was not damaged but was dirty. While I understand that we need to be cognizant of the environment and minimize packaging materials. This bottle needs more protection than was provided.

Love it
Wish we had known how fantastically these work. I heat the water on the stove to ~160 degrees before pouring it (carefully!) into the bottle. The heat is so comforting on a cold night and if you're feeling under the weather these help to keep you warm. My son uses it practically every night as it helps him fall asleep. I made a little flannel pouch for it -- it buffers the heat initially so it doesn't seem that warm, but it gradually heats up and is soft and warm. The heat lasts several hours, longer if kept under the covers.Update 5-25-18 Now that summer is here (in Arizona at least!) I use this with ice cold water and it feels great especially driving in or waiting in the car. It stays cold-cool currently for about 2 hrs for me.

My new friend :)
I got so tired of buying a $10 hot water bottle and having it burst. Especially after I got a dollar store one years ago and it lasted forever (and came with a cute flannel cover!)Because one of us is always going for the comfort of the hot water bottle, I finally decided to splurge a bit on this good one. It's great! I fill it with hot water from the bathtub (ours is REALLY hot). The temperature is still warm the next morning. I sometimes wrap a handtowel around it to keep it warmer longer. The screw-on cap is well made, and the hole for the water is wide, not narrow like those cheap bottles.Don't pour boiling water from the teapot in yours and this will probably last a very long time. I love this bottle.

Love my Fashy
This item is excellent. No smells, keeps water hot for a good while and doesn't leak. I have bought many hot water bottles before. There is always an issue, usually with leaking. Walgreens and Rite Aid sells ones made in china for the same price as this one made in Germany. I bought two and my kids took them both. It's way more cost effective to put one in your bed instead of heating yoour room in a cold night.I also bought two Relief Pak hot water bottle at the same time (5.99 each). Although they don't leak, they smell noxious. Reminds me of my organic chemistry synthesis calss. They must have used a lot of organic solvents which stayed in it.

The Best HWB ever!!!!
I absolutely love my HWB...the warmth that comes from it is so soothing. It stays warm all night...when I empty it out in the morning, the water is still warm...can’t say enough about how comforting it is....wonderful on cold winter nights.

Very disappointing - does not stay warm for long
I was sorely disappointed in the product. I made this purchase after having read all of the good reviews, and after thinking that a Germany-made product must mean quality. I am not sure why my experience has been different from many other consumers, however. I use hot water bottles quite frequently - I take it with me every night to bed in the winter, and use it whenever I have cramps or back pain, or whenever I am cold. I have a very good quality one from England which I bought many years ago. This particular hot water bottle suffers from one major flaw - it does not stay warm. The rubber is not thick, and the bottle is no longer warm in a very short period of time (maybe 20-30 minutes) in a cold or room-temperature environment. I am not expecting a bottle to stay warm for hours and hours, but I do expect to get a good 1 hour or 1.5 hours of solid warmth from a high-quality water bottle, as I do from the other one I own. I bought another one from Fashy in blue, and experienced the same problem, so this is likely not a random quality defect. What a poor buy. Caveat emptor!

Not THE BEST - Has a 'MAY-POP' along an edge corner and WILL leak sooner than later
This is a 5 month review - and I can no longer give it a 5 star. Down to a 1 star because THERE IS A 'MAY-POP' area - a weak/thin spot on the lower corner where the two sides were heat sealed poorly.I use this bottle to heat the foot area of my bed and now I am leery of using the hot water bottle for fear the thinning/weakening area will pop and my bed will end up soaked.DRATS!

Addicted to heat
This hot water bottle "saves my life!". I moved into a new house in the suburb and I'm constantly cold. It keeps me warm at night, but not only. I'm addicted to it and have it on my lap during dinner, then I take it to the sofa while washing a movie. it follows me everywhere.Next winter I'll have to buy one for my husband: he starts borrowing it if I eave it unattended. ;-b

Holds hot water
I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend to replace the one his mum had lent him as it's been very cold this winter. We have a grey theme in our house and I thought a grey hot water bottle would be amusing to add to it. I also bought a separate grey knitted cover for it.He loves this because when we play computer games, our hands get cold, so a hot water bottle to hand is great! I've also tied a grey ribbon to the hole in the top and the screw lid so it'll never get lost/dropped.The only downside is the top of the hot water bottle is misshaped. I'm hoping it will eventually round out, but as its rubber it must have been in that position since it was packed so it probably won't.I'd recommend this if you're particularly after a grey coloured hot water bottle, otherwise you can probably get a cheaper one else where that also comes with a cover.

Good quality product
I live in an old hall and hot water bottles are a necessity. I've been here 3 years now and I've got through so many bottles because I've bought cheaply in the past. The problems I've expreienced are the hole to put the water in is far too small and it spills over the top during filling (ouch!), they smell, they don't stay warm for long, they split easily and don't last long. However, I'm really happy with this product. It feels really good quality, the hole for filling is a safe size and fills very easily and safely, there's no smell that I've noticed and it stays warm through the night. I haven't had it long enough to comment on how long it lasts, but it certainly feels good quality, so I'm hopeful

Flawed.
Loved it until the stopper sheared off with only light tightening after just 1 year (and just out of guarantee. Look at my picture and you will see how thin the stopper walls are. It's a big design flaw in an otherwise excellent make. Such a big pity, but I would advise buyers to get something else as it seems likely they all have the same issue. Easily sorted by making a solid plastic stopper, but you can bet they wont be interested.

Perfect for the older, shakier person
I love the deep grey colour of this hot water bottle - makes a change from the usual pinks and blues. I also like the neck and opening, both of which are wider than the norm and are therefore easier to fill...this matters if you're getting old and doddery and are likely to shake a bit, like my other half. It means he doesn't have to rely on me to fill the bottle safely - if I've gone to the pub he can manage it himself. I've just ordered two more bottles before they stop making them (which is usually the case when I find something I like), oddly enough one pink and one blue...I do like to be contrary/contradictory!Edit: funnily enough, despite the write-up stating that it is a 'hot water bottle with jointless neck preventing leakages', it has sprung a leak at the neck after less than a year! I have therefore had to downgrade my rating to a 3* as I do expect a hot water bottle that has been used properly and looked after to last more than nine or ten months, especially as it is German-made.

Best on the market
Fashy bottles are by far the best ones made. I love the size and feeling of these specifically. This is the second time i have ordered these ones as unfortunately my first ones decided they had lived an extremely well used life and needed to retire. Keeps the heat for a good 10hours minimum, easy to hold and fill, also easy to wipe and keep clean
