Plug and play, installation was extremely easy.
Installed PT546-00160 in my daughter's 2008 Scion xB. Purchased the toyota mic kit from a local dealer, works perfect. Now she has handsfree calling and can stream music from her phone.

I used this to install a 2012 Scion head unit in a 2006 Toyota. Works flawlessly. Retains use of steering wheel controls.

If you love a factory look in your car
I purchased this part along with PT546-00120-AD HFC conversion kit. These two wiring harnesses allowed me to connect a 2013 scion XB radio and put it in my 2006 Scion XB. The connections are different and the new ones come with HD radio. Antenna connector is different. After a few struggles at custom audio shops and also the Toyota Dealership, I found this harness. No wiring, cutting or pesky tape. They all clip in with factory clips, they do no come loose and if you every wanted to go back to your cars original radio all you have to do is unhook the harnesses.The HFC conversion kit plugs into one of these plugs and then into the radio itself. It took about 30 minutes to install the new radio and harnesses. Honestly the hardest part was getting the dash off.If you love a factory look in your car, I highly recommend buying these both. There also happens to to a mic connection as well and ipod hookup. The mic itself was about 7 bucks extra and I didn't want to pay that right now, but hey drop a few bucks and you basically have a factory audio system from a new car with all the perks, like hands free calling and all that jazz.

Worked perfect
Worked great to update from stock stereo to 2015 Entune unit in my 2013 4Runner. A bit spendy, but when you need it, you need it. Deducting 1 star for price gouging.

Works on a 2011 4Runner
Used as an adapter for my 2011 4Runner. Was installing a stereo from a 2018 4Runner and this part made it work.

Easy to install, just plug and play.
I upgrade my 2012 Tacoma stock radio for a 2014 Tacoma head unit No 57090 You need this cable if your radio has a 20 pin connector and the new unit has a 28 pin connector. Be aware that in some Toyota trucks you will need the AX-TOYUSB-2 and AX-TOYUSB cables to maintain the original USB port in the truck.Simple plug and play, good quality, easy to install.
