Light, beautiful, high end quality and appearance, will never go back to glass
The media could not be loaded. I've had this tank for 1.5 years now. I absolutely love it. You have to be comfortable in the differences in care and maintenance required with acrylics vs glass but I'd never get a glass tank again. The fused top with separate openings creates some limitations but I rarely feel annoyed by it.My tank is a freshwater set up with an AquaClear 110 filter and I have dwarf gouramis, full sized gouramis, ctenopomas (leaf fish), mollies, and dwarf suckermouth catfish. I purchased a 60-90 gallon stand from petsmart (online only style) and it's worked well. The acrylic is beautiful, crystal clear, with perfect seams and rounded front edges. I did not use or install the hood or light that came with this, I had already bought a slim profile adjustable bracket multi-setting LED light and leave the top mostly open. I lose a lot to evaporation but I don't mind putting about 4 gallons of fresh treated water in every 10-14 days. I do 50% water changes with a gravel vacuum(Python with 20" tube) I bought on amazon once every month or 2. After the first 6 weeks my water has remained stable and as near perfect as I can get it with tap water that is pH 8.6 and high in nitrates (I used Seachem Prime and pH 7.5 products on tap water before it goes in, both also from amazon) I use the API full water testing kit weekly to bi-weekly.I was able to fit some very large decor in through the two main openings. It was tricky, but because the pieces weren't solid rectangles, I got things in somehow that are actually larger than the openings (see pics).I only use paper towels to clean the inside or outside of the tank. They work well for algae. I have no scratches anywhere on the tank 1.5 years in to ownership. My heater fit right through the heater opening (first had a Zacro 300W, switched to a Aqueon 150W). My thermometer was a smidge too big for the thermometer hole which is slightly annoying since the cord is more visible but I'm dealing with it. I have the tools to enlarge the hole but I've never gotten around to doing so. My filter is enormous and there's still plenty of room on both sides for the filter opening.Having a fixed top is annoying for netting/catching fish and gravel vacuuming, but I've learned to adapt and I've never not been able to accomplish what I need. This tank has been an absolute joy to own and enjoy. I will continue to get acrylic tanks and hope to eventually get some larger/taller versions one day and start a discus tank. This tank was incredibly light, well made, and I've had no bowing, scratches, discoloration, or any issues.

Very nice quality hexagon aquarium
I bought this aquarium because I'm getting very low on fish and I decided to downgrade from a 4 foot tank to a 3 foot tank. I have been buying acrylic tanks for several years now and I'll NEVER go back to glass. However I've only bought clear for life brand until now. I read all the bad reviews and was turned off, however I know there will always be bad reviews for any item. I had rewards points and a gift card so for $117 I figured it was worth giving SeaClear a try. Upon receiving it and opening the box I was worried because there wasn't a lot of packing material, however after inspecting the tank it was perfect. After disinfecting it and filling it up outside to test for leaks I brought it inside and started setting it up. After setting it up I was really happy with how it turned out. My fish adjusted very well to the tank change as I used my existing filter and media. I must say I've always had rectangular aquariums however I'm really loving the hexagon shape. One problem I've had with my tons of clear for life acrylic aquariums is that the back bracing bows up really bad, even on tanks I never had light fixtures on. I'm really hoping that this one doesn't bow up as bad. Everyone complains about the black plastic hood that comes with this tank, however I love the look of it. Also everyone complains that you cannot find a bulb for the fixture it comes with but the problem is that people only look at pet stores. My dad is a vending mechanic so he's very knowledgeable about different light fixtures and bulbs and he said they make led lighting to fit this fixture. However I love the customizable led fixtures with controls so I purchased one on Amazon. I had him remove the fixture in the hood and I'm going to use heavy duty velcro to velcro the top of the light fixture to the top inside of the hood. So far I'm loving this tank and no bowing yet. I'll post an update after a while. I highly recommend this aquarium.

Great tank
Was wary about ordering a tank in the mail but it was packaged very well on all corners with styrofoam and came in mint condition, no scratches. This is a great tank the front edges are rounded and viewing inside is better than glass. As everyone says, the light isn't that great so I added a long led one on top. Dimensions of the tank are 36"L x 15"W x 16"T. I was nervous about the cutouts on top of the 40 gal not being big enough to put my tree inside, but they both measure 13 1/8" x 7 1/4" side by side so there was plenty of room. There is also a 15" x 2 3/8" slot on the top rear for your filter. Fits my eheim 2215 just fine and would accommodate a HOB. There is also a 1 5/8" diameter (on smallest dimension, not totally round) hole for your heater cord to go through on top left rear, and would accommodate smaller heaters to fit the top through the hole. Tank empty is only about 20 pounds so very easy to move around. Overall I think it's a great tank for a good price and am happy I bought my first acrylic tank.( My tank is still cycling and being scaped so sorry about algae and messy small plants in picture.)

Warped at the top after a few months.
UPDATED: April 2019While the sides remain solid, the top panel is warped upwards after only a few months. I have only a lightweight light fixture resting on top and the overturned polycarbonate lid to cover the largest whole (everything is less than a pound altogether). This is ridiculous!I remember reading another review about this happening and thinking naaw, maybe it was just a one-off. But nope, I should have listened. The viewing remains gorgeous and clear, but overall I'm pretty disappointed that this tank has WARPED at the top. It's now going to be even harder to find fixtures and tops for this thing if it's curved on top!! At least it's warped at the back half so it's less visible, but how's this going to look a year from now?I would highly recommend getting something else instead.
