If you're having a colonoscopy it's a good idea to take 2 of these pills afterwards. It cuts out that terrible gas pain you get after the procedure. It has no bad interactions with prescription drugs.

I needed a gas reliever that I could take at bedtime without water. (I'm a horrible sleeper and midnight trips to the bathroom are not an option for me.) This product turned out to be very effective. It worked throughout the day as indicated and I could sleep restfully on it. I didn't have to take additional dosages for gassiness during the day. Unfortunately, within two weeks or so, I found myself constipated with an splitting lower back. Medical professionals advise that 500 mg is maximum amount for daily simethecone use. I've decided to make a switch. I will take a 125 mg gel cap at night, and split the remaining (375mg) dosages with water during the day. This is a good product, but not the right dose for my situation.
