I think the helmet would be good. However, as I tried it to my baby, my baby tried to pull the chin strap and since the chin strap is somewhat garterize/stretches, it hurted my baby when she released her hold of the strap. Please be careful if your baby is pulling the chin strap.

Es bueno pero el color me llegó equivocado, el color melón se ve completamente rosa y lo devolví, lo usó un par de veces y si lo salvó de 2 golpes duros, creo que funciona pero ya no lo volví a encargar por que agarró buen equilibrio y sentí que ya no lo necesitaba más, pero si es muy buen material, lo recomiendo

Just arrived and we put it right away, to make my daughter (18months) get used to it. She liked right away. She started testing it, while Playing rough with my 4 yr old. We bought it mostly to be used at daycare. I like, however; it doesn’t stay put in the front, it slides back, I believe is because the chin strap doesn’t allow to tighten much.

Our toddler tends to be off balance and bumps her head alot. This helmet fits her little head perfectly and gives her a little extra cushion when she may take a tumble. We got the orange and it is more of a salmon color but it is really pretty for our girl.
