This is my mom’s signature scent. I get her a bottle a year. This was the best deal I could find online. And it really is a great perfume so it is worth the price. It’s a nice size bottle that lasts her a while. I wouldn’t say it’s a safe blind buy but if you know you like it then this is a steal.

the scent lasts long but smells okay, pretty different than the other scents of poison and just something I didn’t expect

I have always found Poison to be so incredibly spicy, warm, sweet (but not obnoxiously sweet) and very, very mysterious! While the initial blast is undoubtedly feminine, as Poison settles, it can for sure be worn by a confident MAN. It smells nothing like traditional male scents, but it is warm and spiced enough for a man to pull it off rather easily. When I wear Poison, I put one spray on my bare chest, and either a spray on the back of my neck OR on my wrists! I rarely use more than 2 sprays of Poison. I will without fail get a compliment or two whilst wearing Poison. Last time I was walking out of the gym, two guys actually stopped me and asked me what cologne I was wearing. I just said...Christian Dior ;) If you like warm, sweet, spicy, deep fruity scents...Poison is for you! I do agree, it is not the exact identical Poison as the original 1980's formula, but I genuinely feel it smells basically the same, but it is (thank god) a little tamer than the wild 80's sillage monster it was. I imagine Stevie Nicks, Jim Morrison, Cher, Adam Lambert, Mick Jagger or Freddie Mercury wearing Poison. All these amazing artists together, is how I feel when wearing Poison!
